What else is there to say? We’ve been asking for simple features like the ability to upload a resident photo in the photo space for over a decade yet all they do is add features that nobody wants that makes it look like they’re doing something. and then, of course, there are the endless pricing increases to satisfy their shareholders. Shame.

Auto rotation to landscape view does not work
Since updating iOS and Appfolio mobile, the Auto rotation to view the app in landscape does not work. I’ve worked through Verizon’s Tech Coach to troubleshoot including uninstalling/reinstalling the app, rebooting the phone, resetting network settings, verifying iOS settings (auto lock display). Other apps seem to auto rotate without issue.
Any suggestions are welcomed.

Garbage
Always crashes, multiple issues for the cost of this junk set up, I love going to do my time and have to reload from the beginning go through several steps to get to the work order I’m working on. Just kidding. This app is a joke
Sign in is a drag
I like the app, with the exception of signing in. Every time I click on the app, it wants to text me a code to sign in. Password is never enough. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve clicked “remember this device for 30 days”. Doesn’t matter. Wants to text me a code to sign in constantly. So annoying. I hate using this app on my mobile because of it.

Works most of the time but..
FREEZES during inspections constantly. Drives me crazy. Can’t even complete one inspection without the app freezing 20 times.
Also information is spread out too much. AND when sending approval requested the data limit for photo attachments is 18 mb. I have to create a google folder and add the link for each estimate request.

Fix your app
App is constantly freezing or crashing
Just don’t get AppFolio until they fix their app.
Keeps freezing every 2 minutes while doing inspections, literally impossible to do my work efficiently with this.

The app is great to check on the go- but doing inspections is a nightmare!! App is constantly freezing and crashing during inspections. Even if I take the pictures on my phone normally and go to upload the pictures it still freezes !!
App Freezing
I do inspections for houses and the app allows me to use my camera and upload photos. Problem is the app freezes every few pictures and has to be closed and reopened a lot which is very annoying and time consuming. I got a new phone to see if the issue would go away but it hasn't and seems to be an app issue. I've brought this up with support and their answer was to use their browser which is just as slow to use.

App loves to crash during inspections
Unusable for Inspections
Consistently crashes when trying to do any sort of inspection in the app. Can’t get anything done. Doesn’t seem to be of concern in your updates. Fix your app!!!
Helpful but can be frustratingly buggy
Regularly crashes when using messaging in the inbox with tenants and vendors. Have to often sign out and sign back in or close app and reopen. Can really slow down workflow
Keeps freezing
Trying to do inspections and it freezes on me at least 15 times during one inspection. Ridiculous. Takes me 3 times as long to get stuff done

Just stop. You had a good thing going. We don’t need to automate a convo that says, “no problem I’ll be right there!” .
You are making your product inferior. And I understand you probably don’t care that much, but just stop playing games…you already have us all on the hook. At least desktop version still works.
Also you can’t send an application anymore because apparently that isn’t an important part of managing rentals.

Unable to login
This app is useless‼️ I have my username & password entered correctly, but it says it’s invalid when I’m able login online with no problem.😡 This App has never work, just a pice of garbage‼️
Stoped working
AppFolio stoped working on IPad 5th. Just doesn’t open. Help!!!
Inspection Photos
Used to be able to do 0.5 photos but after last update no longer can. All the way zoomed out is still farther zoomed in then what normal camera is. Very annoying.
Won’t even open
Downloaded it and it wouldn’t open. Deleted the app and tried again several times in two days. Turned my phone off and on and it made no difference. Browser version works fine but is inconvenient. Idk what kind of bug is happening in the app but this is literally insane
