Great rates, but poor reliability
Aspora has a great app concept and offers excellent forex conversion rates that are very competitive with Google rates. Unfortunately, the app is highly unreliable, which makes it difficult to trust for important money transfers.
I’ve repeatedly experienced authentication failures even when entering the correct OTP, both via phone and email. Customer support is also poor, with no option to speak to someone over the phone.
The first transfer is particularly painful due to the identity verification process, especially for users who already have accounts and completed verification with other money-transfer apps. Even worse, my transfers have silently failed after a day without any notification. This happened repeatedly, and I eventually learned that there was an issue between Aspora and Chase Bank.
The forex rates are great, but reliability and customer support are far more important when dealing with money. I hope Aspora addresses these issues soon, because the service has significant potential if these problems are fixed.

Hii am very happy for this transaction because when I tried to send money to India it was taking more than one day.. that’s the reason I stopped to sending money from this app. I was sending the money from remetley app. But they are taking extra charge from me. Payment issues
I honestly don’t understand how this app gets so many 4+ star ratings. I’ve used Taptap Send many times, sometimes making several transfers in a single month, and I’ve never had an issue. They never asked me for extra documents or held my money, and their customer service has always been excellent—whenever I called or chatted with them, they resolved my issue quickly.
Unfortunately, my recent experience has been completely different. After making a transfer, the app held my money and asked for additional proof, despite my account already being fully verified when I signed up. If everything has already been verified, I don’t understand why the money is being held after the transfer has been made.
We send money for important reasons, and unexpectedly holding it while saying it’s under a “compliance check” is extremely frustrating. I don’t accept this experience or the lack of transparency.
Once my current transfer is completed, I’ll be deleting the app and will not be recommending it to anyone.
