Easier than I thought
The first time I used atom I was worried about when I got there and not knowing where to go or what to do but the atom signs are easy to spot and I just walked up and the girl came right over and scanned the barcode on my phone and she went ahead and got us our pop and popcorn. When I looked over on our way to the admissions guy, I seen the regular consession line was long. I was so happy that we got moved through so fast, even when we came to the ticket guy it was the same thing, scanned the barcode and go. I love this app. Watching other people standing in a long line and us just walking on past them. Almost felt bad for them, almost 😂😂 for what it takes to get the app and what it does for you, it silly if you don't get it and deserve to stand in the long line up 😂😂😂

I like being able to buy tickets ahead of time using the app and if you have to cancel, the app offers you a choice between full credit or a partial refund (makes sense so you don’t abuse it). App is overall very convenient to use

Check The Actual Theater For Movie Times
Will frequently just show you incorrect movie times. Was going to watch a movie at 7:00. That showtime then changed to 7:45. We checked again at 7:20 to make sure it was still showing, and the showtime disappeared. Figured the showing was cancelled, but out of curiosity I checked the AMC website. Turns out the movie actually did start at 7:00 and we missed it. Another day, it completely fabricated a showing that never existed. We showed up to the theater and the employees had no idea what we were talking about. Do yourself a favor and check with the actual theater for showtimes instead of using this garbage.

Lose your tickets
As soon as you send the tickets to your friends you can no longer access them on your phone. And your friends wont get the get the emails so they can’t get the tickets either. Garbage app.

I’ve had this app for years and today my account was banned because I used my free tickets for cancelled movies sucks I can’t use my account anymore
What happened to Atom
I have used Atom for years and have always loved it. Recently though they have become garbage. I try to purchase movie tickets and the transaction just sits “pending” for days until it’s finally just canceled. The generic email I get passed blame and says to try another card or something. I have multiple time, no difference. When I try to use their in-app chat it doesn’t know how to handle the problem and theirs no way to just talk to an agent without going several rounds with the ai bot first. Then after a short conversation with an agent, they can no longer support me over the app and have to transfer to email responses which just leaves me hanging and then just goes back to generic email responses saying they have cancelled the transaction but no word on how to prevent having further issues. Then after I finally get tickets to a show, I arrive to find that someone else had also legitimately bought the exact same seats. The theater blames Atom and Atom blames the theater so no one takes accountability. I get refunded the tickets but didn’t get to see the show and I get is sorry for the inconvenience. I’ll be using a different method to buy movie tickets from now on.

Can’t login
I don’t go to the movies often but I assumed after buying a ticket it’d be easy to use. I spent multiple days trying to login before the film to make it easy, and it was anything but. Still couldn’t login day of the film so I skipped it. Hope it’s not a requirement and my emails enough! No point in using if I can’t even look at my tickets.

This app used to easily show the Atom reviews and some critic reviews. It was helpful.
Now they have buried or deleted the Atom reviews, added a mess of other confusing reviews and and made it unfriendly.

Garbage System
Codes only work in the app and not on the site? Already garbage. Can’t login because it needs a phone number. Type in my number and it says no, it’s associated with an account. Yeah. Mine. That I’m trying to log into.

I’ve never had any issue with your payment processor, but trying to buy tickets your payment processor that says my card has been declined because I know this sufficient funds in my checking account. I’ve tried multiple times I tried using Apple Pay and it still will not go through what is going on I will go put it back to five stars when you fix this problem.

Last update you to buy new phone
Won’t let you use the app unless you buy a new phone because the latest update/version requires iOS 17 or later. I hate it when app developers do that. They’re discriminating you based on the phone you’re using. “Sorry, you’re too poor to be using our app. See ya!”
No Customer Service
I have two passes available in my profile, which are about to expire. However the app glitches and won’t apply the passes.
When going to customer service, you get a bot, which eventually says an agent will be right with you. The agent never comes, even after an hour of waiting. There is no other way to resolve or contact anybody.
