Lots of reboots
I am having to unplug/ plug back in several times a week lately. Getting a “frame offline” message, yet nothing is wrong with my so-do. I really love this frame, but it’s become very frustrating

Love the app and caption feature
If I can be fussy, I would love the same ‘add caption feature’ from my phone’s photo share flow. It’s just so much quicker to send my photos to Aura frame from Photos app. And how about suggestive tags to help add captions?
Family, near and far
My son’s family gifted us the Aura Frame. We have had digital frames before, but never like this one. The look is nice and simple to make the photos stand out. I bought a frame for my son’s home and my mother has a frame. We can add photos and I can see my granddaughters grow in each of the photos. So, being far away is easier to tolerate when I can see their lives unfold. It is the best gift for family, near and far.

Dark Patterns & Misleading Claims
The company advertises “Unlimited Photo Storage”, but deliberately left out any kind of photo management features in the application, to disincentivize actually using that storage. Anything over a couple hundred photos is a complete disorganized mess of files, with no way to filter out duplicates or organize.

Ok, but many reboots
8/17/2026: latest bug, even though it’s on a 6AM wakeup it won’t unless I provide enough light. I’ve rebooted, so that’s not the issue.
8/8/26 update: Frame is still buggy, too many reboots/update checks. Plus now we notice sone videos stop loading & won’t play, or just don’t load. And many recent uploaded photos and reels never show up.
It’s been entertaining, BUT it reboots too many times during the day. Very annoying. Why check for updates everyday, multiple times each day. You folks control the feed, so why not SEND an update when available? And, IT IS NOT A WIFI OR NETWORK ISSUE! Everything else connected to our network works fine!

My Aura
Wonderful the whole family are adding photographs which is great
Photo lock up on screen
Basically I bought the Aura to see pictures. Over the last couple of weeks the pictures come up but lock up and I have to pull the plug to reset the Aura. I contacted Aura by email and they said they would reset my Aura hopefully solving the problem, and it didn’t. I would like to talk to a representative hopefully solve this problem. Based on my current issue I can’t refer Aura to any of my friends or associate.

My wife has moderate Alzheimers. I bought the larger size so she can watch the family and friends pictures, some going back to childhood from across the room. Luv that we get auto pic updates about kids, grans and greatgrans.

Need albums
App needs albums and the ability to save batches of pics at a time as a backup. Like the frame itself, not the software.
Pretty good
Would love to have ability to group photos into folders and then hide the whole folder from displaying… and switch folders. Doing it picture by picture it too much. For instance… my aunts birthday id coming up. I’d like to remove all the photos for the day and just have a special bday photo message display.

Aura app, good enough
The Aura Frames app works surprisingly well. I like that the app is fairly easy to learn and navigate, even without reading any instructions. There is one minor improvement that I’d like to see. When I select the current frame (the device itself), can Aura please tell us the model (version) of the physical frame? This may come in handy if a household has MULTIPLE frames running. Which frame is which? Am about to uload to the small 10” frame? Or is it the big 15” frame? Aura, please identify the frame in question.

Awesome photo frame
A wonderful gift for my daughter. I love the pictures automatically scrolling daily and I have to get up many times to figure out what I’m looking at because it’s been so many years since I saw this particular photo. It’s wonderful to re-remind me of all the wonderful times I’ve had in my life.
