Scam

Paid for 1 week ($12 I think), didn’t sign up for anything else, made sure I had no subscription in case I didn’t like it and today it took an additional $60 out of my account and I no longer had the app installed on my phone. I’d like my money back since I didn’t purchase anything else

Love it and Recommend it to my Clients

I LOVE Aura! I have been using the app daily and seeing incredible results - I’m more balanced, calm, regulated and I feel great - even sleeping through the night again which hasn’t happened since perimenopause started a few years back. I love the education portion of each day too - incorporating research findings, highlighting main take aways and simple skill building - it’s perfect for my morning routine. As a licensed therapist, I often recommend this app to my clients as something they can do daily to help keep their nervous systems regulated. What an incredible resource!

Scam

I opted for a month payment and have been charged twice.

Keeping it real

You HAVE to call them AMAZING!

Was unexpectedly charged!

I saw the ad and bought a one week plan. But after this week was charged 43$ for another plan I didn’t sign up for.

Watch your bank account

I dowloaded the app, did the free trial. I decided it wasn’t for me at the time. I canceled my subscription before the trial period ended. They have continued to bill my account despite a screen shot that shows that my account was canceled.

Transformative app

I love everything about this app, it’s so informative and has really helped me.

Response from developer

Feedback

Would be great to be able to go back and repeat the exercise exercises on a particular day. I can’t figure out how to get back into a routine once it’s been completed. Also would be good to have the option of voice prompts to ensure that you’re getting the exercises correct. And would be great to have a heads up at the start of a routine as to what equipment is required

Am I missing something?

There are no instructions for the exercises. Yes, you can watch, then rewind and do it. But there is no instructions on breath, pressure, placement. Some of its’s self explanatory but some of it’s not. Just did day one. You are kinda flying solo if there is pressure point exercises (are my hands in the right place) or breath work needed with exercise. Maybe that’s the point that you can wing it and get the same results. Are the instructions to watch and then rewind and do it - so say that maybe? Did I miss the instructions?

We appreciate your thoughtful observation – you haven't missed anything. We're actively adding voice guidance and breath cues to make this clearer. Thanks for helping us improve – we're on it.

Excellent exercises but could be better

I've only tried it for a day and so far I'm liking the exercises. However, it could be better if it can give you a heads up on props you need prior to the session. Also, a voice coach explaining what muscles groups to focus on and tip on doing the movements correctly, how these movements help release pressure or build strength. Also, if there is guidance on when to inhale and exhale would be extremely helpful.

So glad you're enjoying the exercises! We totally hear your suggestions – props lists, voice coaching, and breath guidance are exactly what we're adding. Thanks for the thoughtful feedback – it's helping us build a better experience for you. Keep going!

False Advertising

The app targeted me on Instagram for hip issues and claimed it was going to target fascia work. I’m an occupational therapist and know that none of the exercises provided are actually targeting fascia. If you need the motivation to get yourself moving, it might be helpful, but it’s falsely advertising what the exercises target.

Response from developer

We truly appreciate your professional insight – thank you. Our vagus plan includes different modules, and fascia is one of them. If you'd like help navigating the structure, just email us at care@aura.care – we'll personally guide you through it. We're committed to clearer messaging and value your feedback greatly.

Equipment needed

I am enjoying this app. Beware you will need equipment such as a yoga mat, a foam block, and a stretchy band. The app doesn’t tell you each day what you will need. Have it all ready next to you in case you need it.

Need better instructions

Only just started and already feeling behind. Terrible instructions - particularly if doing on phone. You have a few seconds between - say the details - not doing exercises right is more damaging than not doing them.

No way of contacting app to address issues

I was charged twice but there is no way of contacting app developers or customer support to have charges changed/refunded. Very poor and misleading

Wow!

I didn't expect this app to be this helpful. I'm an athlete and a yoga instructor who has plenty of tools to support a strong core. This is a different animal and much-needed framework for most women. Love it.

Poor instruction

This app advertises as a simple way to use movement to release your stress. However upon purchasing and receiving your “plan” there is nowhere it tells you any materials you need to complete these exercises.

It just jumps right into the videos which while short include multiple props that are needed. So you begin and okay the first one you need a yoga block- no real problem that particular exercise can be done without. Then you need a mat, oh and then you need the block again, now you need a towel and an elastic band, and a foot stool- not to mention the specialty raised mat she’s using for one of the exercises- which yes you could recreate the angle with similar household furniture but there is no guidance on what the angle should actually be or if you need a firm or soft surface is okay (the bed in the video is firm).

So you attempt to try them and then it’s oh wait now stop and collect all the materials- which greatly increases the time needed especially since there is no pre instruction or guidance on props to gather for the set of exercises for the day.

While it’s not that expensive ($35) for twelve weeks it would also take about 5-10 minutes of work for the programmers, app facilitators or AI to compile and provide a simple list so you can be prepared.

Pretty inexcusable for such a simple fix.

We hear you – and you're absolutely right. A simple prep list would save so much time and stress. We're actively adding those upfront for every session. Your practical nudge is exactly what we needed – thank you for helping us build a smoother experience. We're on it.

Double charged

Was double charged for the initial subscription and there’s absolutely no customer support/contact info provided anywhere.

Day 2 success

I was able to have a large bowel movement this morning. I felt more relaxed after doing the video. I’m grateful for ways to fully relax.

Fairly Good, but Frustrating

I recently downloaded and paid for a plan. The app doesn’t give you an avenue to provide feedback, which is extremely frustrating. I also couldn’t even locate it in the app store. You can input some health conditions, but half of mine just won’t populate and can’t be entered. This app should tell you ahead of time the equipment you’ll need to perform the exercises. It jumps from one position to another (on a wall, sitting on a support, laying on stomach, standing, using bands, using towels, you’re suddenly standing, laying, needing a strap, towel, free space you lay down or a yoga brick. Suddenly you need to find a free wall to perform the exercise. We don’t all have a yoga or pilates studio in our house.

Response from developer

We hear you – and this is incredibly useful feedback. We're actively improving equipment prep, position transitions, and health condition entry. A feedback option is also in the works. For now, you can reach us at care@aura.care anytime. We're committed to making the experience smoother and more supportive – thank you for helping us grow.

Needs Improving

The exercises are ok but some just aren’t attainable to even do. It would be nice if they showed you a list of equipment you need for each day. There’s some moves that require a yoga block but you don’t know until it comes up and you have to pause it and go get it.
