Weird Transactions and Interactions
I bought a shirt at Dillard’s for $30 and some change. A pending transaction showed up on the app for $289 and some change. When I called to ask about it, they asked did I want to report it as fraud. Then, it says I have $500+ available credit, yet a $69 Uber declined. I will be getting rid of this card ASAP!

It has been two months since my application approval, I have not received the Avant Card yet. But Avant has already started charging me $25. So very poor service!
Lost CC
I’m very disappointed in the follow through with Avant. I called to have a new CC shipped, after 2 weeks it never arrived. I called back to ask for another card to be told I had to wait 3 weeks before they would ship a new CC! I’m very disappointed, when I called after two weeks had passed, the representative could have cancelled that card and sent a new card so here I am a month since my original call with no CC - still waiting! Poor customer service!

I have sent these people $60 every check for like 3 months and somehow someway my card is still negative with no usage. Payments take forever to go through so that you get charged an obscene late fee, customer service is terrible and just dumb in general with the worst people you will ever talk too. DO NOT get this card

⭐️ 2 Star — I Would Never Recommend Avant
I am extremely disappointed with Avant and the way they treat customers who are genuinely struggling.
I reached out and asked for a one-time courtesy waiver of a late fee. I wasn’t asking them to erase my balance, excuse my payment, or give me special treatment. I was simply asking for a little compassion during a difficult financial situation.
The response was basically, you signed the agreement, you were late, so that’s what you get. I understand how credit card agreements work. What I don’t understand is why a company can’t show even a little consideration to a customer who is clearly struggling and simply asking for a ONE-TIME courtesy.
I’ve dealt with other credit card companies that were willing to work with customers in difficult situations. Avant couldn’t even do that.
I’m doing everything on my own and trying my best to stay on top of my responsibilities. Instead of feeling like a customer who deserved some understanding, I felt completely dismissed.
This experience has completely changed my opinion of Avant. I will never recommend this company to my family, friends, or anyone else. If you’re considering getting an Avant card, I would seriously think twice about it. Don’t expect much compassion when you actually need help.
