Terrible experience
Card continually goes on a fraud hold, even when I approve the purchase and reply to a fraud alert. I have to call in, walk through my purchases have the hold removed and then it does it again as soon as I try another purchase. Very frustrating experience.

Not checking with the customer to see if they really ordered Spotify and I’m charged for Spotify and I didn’t order Spotify and I can’t get a hold of anybody to correct this to fix it to put the money back on the card to close the account whatever you gotta do, I don’t know, but I am very upset with this . I guess I don’t need to make any more payments on the card. Just go with bad credit because this is stupid taking money out for something. I did not order go back and look at all my history you’re gonna see that I am right.

I was approved with a credit score of 548. So that’s great. But I haven’t been able to make a payment because I can’t use my business checking account. It’s the only bank account that I have. Now I run the risk of impacting my credit negatively. I am also still waiting for a call back from a supervisor and it’s been 4 days.

They do not process payments in a timely fashion which causes monetary issues to then charge fees AND do not successfully process payments when THE MONEY IS IN THE ACCOUNT the day they go in to withdraw the scheduled payment. I paid the amount owed IN FULL and come in 2 days later to see another amount owed instead of $0. They scheme to charge you fees with predatory practices. BEWARE!

I paid my bill 327$ and they still added another 300 on top, called customer service paid another 300$ and somehow I am still negative 300 again.

Avant is absolutely trash. There is nothing that will benefit you from working with Avant. HORRIBLE customer service. The app sucks, the limits aren’t as high as they should be. Waste of time!

Payment due date
I have called at least 5 times begging for a 1st or second due date. Instead they refuse and my due date remains the 25th of the month. I am on SSDI. I am charged a $39 late fee every month for paying on the 1st. Unscrupulous, theft.

I really do like this card so far
Not helpful for building credit
I have a $300 credit limit, and Avant charged a $50 annual fee right after I had used the card, pushing the account over its limit. I typically just pay it off as I use it so I immediately paid the entire balance, and the payment has fully cleared my bank. Avant now shows my current balance owed as $0, yet my available credit is still -$57. They have my money, it cleared my bank a week ago.. but they still have not restored my credit availability. A card with such a low limit, a substantial annual fee, and delayed access to cleared payments is not helpful for building credit. This card will actively hurt your credit score.

Very good credit card. Good income
I got not so good credit because I co-signed for someone and they disappointed me. But I am gradually getting back on my feet and this credit card came handy.
