Basically pickle but harder to use
Wanted to see what this app had to offer that was different from Pickle, specifically because I have a wedding coming up soon and can't rely on shipping times. But I can't look for specific items in my area (ie: black dress within 5 miles for pick up) so it's kind of useless.

Baro is everything
Baro is truly the best — being able to rent dresses for the 10 weddings I’ll be attending this year is an absolute game changer. Their inventory is fresh and cool and I consistently feel best dressed when choosing Baro :)

I’ve been using BARO for about 3 months now and really like it! It’s really easy to use and whenever I’ve had a question or issue their team is really great and fast to respond. I’ve rented out a couple of my pieces with no issues and just returned my first rental today. Excited to use for more events!

Unethical Business that Appropriates Cultures for Profit
This clothing line blatantly appropriates South Asian Fashion while trying to pass off such fashion as European or ‘vintage.’ Unethical, and inappropriate.

Appropriating South Asian Culture!!
The creators love to appropriate south asian culture by not referencing how many of the app’s recent pieces are heavily influenced by (knocking off*) south asian fashion. Many people have called them out on this and tried to educate them, but they refuse to acknowledge this. Browsed the app and the designs are full of it. Not to mention how frustrating the interface is to use.

The new go-to app for one-time rentals
I’m a big fan of Rent the Runway but their variety lacks at times, and the Pickle app is too busy to navigate!! Just rented my first dress from BARO and had a seamless experience. Love that it also allows you to lend and not just borrow, as I’ve already made $ that way so far and I’ve only had the app for a month! Great way to find dresses for weddings that people won’t recognize from RTR, too. ;) For an app still in its early stages, I couldn’t rec BARO more!!

A staple for wedding season
Thank you so much for creating this app- the perfect way to wear a new amazing dress to every wedding without breaking the bank!! Easy to use, and the customer service is A+!!!! Not to mention amazing inventory!!!
Great idea and great app
I have so many weddings coming up and did not want to buy new dresses for all of them/ am sick of the inventory on all of the clothing rental apps. Someone told me about Baro so I took a look and I’m obsessed. I borrowed a random girl’s dress that is so cute and got so many compliments - the whole process was super painless and easy and now the girl and I text about other dresses we have that we want one another to wear. Safe to say I will be using Baro again and am excited to start making money from my closet.

Honestly was skeptical at first in terms of outfit damage but have been so impressed with this app/process. Renting out my own clothes and renting others has been so easy. Everyone is very responsive and helpful in terms of sizing. Can’t wait to continue renting for all these upcoming weddings!! Love.

I love this app because it focuses on high end, designer, and vintage items!! I also make money off the pieces in my closet that I don’t want to sell but don’t get much wear out of!

I’ve been using BARO to rent out pieces in my closet that I’ve worn for special occasions and don’t want to get rid of but don’t really wear a lot. It’s been great so far! Everyone who’s borrowed from me has been really respectful and love being a part of the community
