Upgrades People, Upgrades

If you don’t have an e-bike or bicycle this can be a real game changer!! They just opened up stations in Longmont, and they’re all over central Boulder. You can take advantage of the beautiful bike paths or daily commute to a lot of areas. Sure it’s not perfect, but they’re always friendly and pretty quick to fix issues. Besides, not having this option would be a real bummer. 5 stars

It just doesn’t work

I have tried it twice now and when I try to unlock a bike it just thinks for a while and then it says

Checkout error

I already brought 3 $10 passes to try to get this to work but it just isn’t happening.

Scammers

I bought a bike ride yesterday and I went inside somewhere for a couple of minutes and when I came back outside my bike was gone. There was no way for me to lock the bike. I only paid for 2 hours for $15. But now they are trying to charge me $75 because the guy that took my bike was going on a joy ride. There was literally no way for me to cancel anything on the app. I only agreed to pay $15 for 2 hours the bike should have stopped charging me after 2 Hours!

The worst

Just got an account today to be able to bike home after work due to car issues. Since the start everything has been riddled with issues. First the app didn’t want to register my account because I had a bike open from 2021 (?), finally got a bike unlocked only for it to have no pedal assist. Docked it at another station to get another bike which also did not have pedal assist. Tried to dock that bike and none of the stations would take it. Called customer service basically only to be told if the bikes left out it’s my fault and I would be charged, only to then be hung up on. Turned what was supposed to be a breezy afternoon trip home into a major headache. I don’t recommend.

Best Hack Ever

For $30 you can ride all over Santa Barbara for a week or a month. Such a great way to go.
