Battery Display Not Accurate

The only reason I spent time configuring the new shades to the bridge and app was for accurate battery levels. I’m happy with just using the remote for raising and lowering. But even after a full charge of the shade, the numerical battery levels are never accurate. Thankfully the battery image itself appears to be, but what use is having numerical values if they’re not going to be reliable? Please fix!

Incredibly frustrating 85% of the time

Just spent the money on buying a bridge to use the app. Rarely shows accurate info which makes it kind of worthless if you’re not physically there to see the shade position and you still have to use remote or Alexa, but neither of those tell you when you’re getting low on battery life. Currently out of 3 shades closed to 97% and all three were charged within the last 24 hours, the app shows shades are at 47%, 41% and closed and 2 show yellow battery and 1 red battery. Of the 6 data points, not one is accurate. It’s a recurring theme. They really need to revamp this thing based on all of the similar reviews to mine. Why have an app that is so off the mark?!

Does not work with HomeKit

Does not work with HomeKit despite their documentation saying “works with Siri”. It’s a lie. 5K in shades, now I get to fight for my money back.

Worthless

I have the latest iPhone. Great Internet connection. I’ve read the instructions 10 times. It says there’s a firmware update. If I select update, then it takes forever to download and then crashes and says unsuccessful. If I choose not to update firmware, then it deletes the bridge completely so I have to start over.

Finally got the update to work after finding another location to update it. Now the system seems to work fine. I really like the scenes and the timer.

Connecting the app is horrible. What happened to pug and play?

Not compatible with all Apple devices

I’d really like this to be available on Apple Watch. So much more convenient if so. Siri commands don’t work on watch.

Scammers and low quality product

Biggest regret buying blinds that work on this system.

Crashes

App continually crashes. Not able to add hub or shades to automate.

Not reliable

The app used to be decent but last few versions the schedules just don’t persist. I’ll have an automation to close at sunrise and then open 45 minutes later but only the closing works. Additionally I routinely have shades drop out of the app altogether.

Bottom line, if you’re researching these blinds before buying I’d suggest you look elsewhere until they can develop actual functioning software.

Control4 users and dealers beware

Shade position in the app is rarely accurate. This wreaks havoc in my control4 home automation as well. The app/hub are very very slow to send commands to the shades. It is unusable with control4 which is the No. 1 professional home automation company in the USA.

There is no way to see the status of the hubs in the app (wired ethernet hubs), no way to update the hubs firmware and swapping hubs requires complete reprogramming of every shade, recreating rooms, scenes and re-pairing.

Its crazy that the shade pairing information is not stored in the account and there is no simple way in the app to re-assign hubs and shades in case a hub needs to be relocated or additional hubs need to be added to ensure good coverage.

Worked Flawlessly…

My most recent adjustment caused the automation to stop working. It shows that the blinds should open every morning at 8 and close at 5:30. But they don’t. All toggles are on. Very frustrating.

Blinds Disappear

When the blinds are on the app it works well enough however you’ll open the app one day and half of them will be gone along with your scenes and automations. Just stay away. Wish I would have gone with Lutron after all. More expensive but their stuff always works.

It’s functional enough

Basically just a remote for blinds that’s on your phone. UI is fine. there was a way to preset some blinds to always raise or open to a certain height.
Recently several rooms and blinds just disappeared from the app with no notice. Attempting to add them back to the app get an errors that says that room still exists…? Have tried resetting the bridges and still no luck.

Continually Crashed

I’ve had to add back my 10 blinds for the 3rd time since they were installed Monday. The app works fine then they just disappear…..

Absolutely awful

Never works right, incorrect information. Loses shades. No one to contact.

Needs HomeKit support

Very basic controls and works as expected for the most part. Not having HomeKit support is a real downer.

Inconsistent

Some blinds open properly at sunrise but don’t close at sunset. Some blinds don’t work at all. Others work perfectly, but only on certain days.

The company reports that they update the software, I just don’t see any changes. Maybe the engineers should go to a customers house that is having problems (clearly I’m not the only one) and figure this app out. Even my installer says his blinds are inconsistent

Inconsistent

Some days the app works. Some shades never work. Some shades can’t even be put on the system.

If one is going to have an app, it should work all the time or it’s useless

Will not pair with my blind

Unable to complete last step of the pairing process. The blind joggs four times and beeps three times indicating successful connection, however, the countdown timer times out before successfully adding the blind to the Bliss app.
