Waiting time charge
Waiting time charges of only less than 1.5 minute only benefits the driver. I always get charged even though I have been at the designated waiting spot but could not spot the driver because there was traffic coming into the Lisbon Airport parking lot. The driver also did not immediately confirmed that I was picked up and therefore got charged for the additional waiting time. This concept gets abused by the driver and it’s not my first time getting charged when the driver is the one who couldn’t find me, stuck in traffic, or delayed confirmation, where i would then need to raise a ticket to the support team which i may or may not hear back. I will no longer be using Bolt given the risk.

Service nul en premiere experience
L’app force un point de prise en charge dans la zone interdite de Lisbonne que nous avions quitté exprès. Essayé une dizaine de fois de changer pour le lieu hors zone interdite où nous etions. Le chauffeur s’est rendu au point de prise en charge décidé par l’app et le temps de le rejoindre il etait deja parti. Bref je suis heureux de n’etre ici qu’en vacances et ne pas dependre de cette app dans la vie quotidienne.

Overcharged in a ride and support refuses to even look at the case
The price in my ride almost doubled, and support just closes the chat without even allowing me to explain the situation. Really poor service and deceptive app, I do not recommend!!

Tres mauvais service
Les courses semblent pas chers mais les drivers ne sont pas sérieux. Ils se garent loin pour gagner du temps , démarrent la course tardivement volontairement pour charger un supplément d’attente. Mais bon quand on tombe sur quelqu’un qui sait un peu conduire on a déjà de la chance.

Good Value, Some Kinks
I scheduled a ride, like I’ve done before, and quietly literally nothing happened. I thought I wouldn’t get a ride to the airport after a few more unscheduled rides failed. Then I switched to Uber and got a ride no problem for surprisingly cheaper, by about 25%. I don’t feel comfortable using Bolt for rides where I have to be somewhere on time but I’ll gladly use it for value rides around Europe.

Drivers are always cancelling
Honestly it’s cheap for a reason. 3 times now I order a bolt and my drivers cancel on me. Not professional either the customer service is a joke. I’ve decided to delete this app.
Bad drivers
There seems to be no control over the drivers that are registered with bolt, I had experience with cars with no AC in a heatwave, bad driving and flashing engine and headlight warnings when in the car. All in not a safe experience, to add to this I was offered a measly £2 refund for the trouble when I raised a case against this driver. Beyond offering a discount on joining, I highly doubt I will swap uber out for bolt unless they increase their safety.

Rates looked better than uber at stanstead airport but no drivers available and then I paid to boost got a driver whom kept me waiting and then canceled, do your self a favour and skip this app

Was at the wrong location and insisted at the correct location I made sure the pin was reflected at the correct address, tried calling no response, in the end got there but a very stressful arriving at my location late !
Good app, but some functionality needs fixing in their algorithm
Bolt has good drivers and the service is nice, but the app says “2 minutes” for a ride, you order, and then it can’t find drivers for 10 minutes and then finally finds you one that is 15 minutes away. Idk why. They used to be somewhat accurate? But the estimated wait times need to be updated
Drivers don’t come
Drivers repeatedly accept rides and then either never come or send you messages to harass you and force you to cancel - there is clearly come kind of incentive to do so on this app that isn’t there on uber. I wish they would fix this because having to deal with this late at night getting home from an airport is really painful. Their complaint service also doesn’t seem to care at all about this - I reported a driver for messaging trying to get me to cancel and they did nothing.

I have used Bolt in many counties and I have appreciated their service and I haven’t had bad rides.
