Terrible app
There’s no way to edit your credit card info if you make a mistake during the order and you have to re-enter everything which is a PITA.
Also there’s no way to track your order once added so you don’t know the status.

Gift cards
If you have a gift card for bonchon it is not possible to purchase anything online due to horrible management and because this company lacks respect to the customers. If they did have respect they would have a site that actually works and realize there app has one star.

Not well laid out, No Apple Pay
App requires way too much scrolling to be used. Should be more tap to select than there is. Also, I will not save my credit card information in an app like this. Please add Apple Pay support ASAP else I may not risk ordering through it often.
Impossible to cancel order
I needed to cancel an order in this app and there was no way to do it. I made an advance order, so there is plenty of time to cancel. I can see the order in the app, but no way to cancel it. I also called the restaurant and they couldn’t see the order yet, so the way couldn’t cancel it either. Frustrating experience for me and annoying for the restaurant as well.

Garbage
The app basically is the same as if you are ordering via the browser on the phone. It is like a screen scrape! What is the use of the app? Can not even order from my computer as their certificate does not match their site name and throwing a 404. Oh can not even call in a phone order. I guess soon going to be only walk in. Oh. If I did not like Bonchon

Awful app
The new app is pretty miserable. Clunky, hard to use, doesn’t support ApplePay. The “upgrade” process was also poor - completely delete the app and install the new one. No actual upgrade.
Garbage
Absolutely zero integration from old app. Does not remember your old email or account. Had to enter all new info. No way to log in until after you order something. Deleted the app. Just gonna call in from now on.
New App Doesn’t Work
What was wrong with the old app? This is what happens when you go with the lowest bidder, get what you pay for. Better use your phone or desktop browser, or call in. This new app won’t get it done.

The old app was nothing fancy, but at least I could complete an order with it. New app couldn't handle a half n half chicken strips order. Hopefully an update is in work.
Can’t order
I go thru the entire order put in my gift card which is brand new and has a balance. And the continue to checkout is totally grayed out. It won’t let me proceed to purchase. I triple check everything was filled out and it still won’t work. Do you guys want to make money or what?
Completely unusable app
I want to order the delicious chicken, but the app tells me that there are no Bonchons within 100 miles despite the fact that I just passed the one, open, that I ate at a few days ago. Payment is also antiquated, no Apple Pay? Toss your developer and start over or you are going to go out of business!

5 star chicken with a 1 star app
The new app is horrible. Can’t use 1Password. It said my old account I have been using for years didn’t exist and made me create a new one with the exact same email address… Some of my credit card info must have been entered wrong BECAUSE THEY DON’T INTEGRATE WITH ONE PASSWORD AND I HAD TO TYPE EVERYTHING IN MANUALLY ON THE TOUCHSCREEN LIKE A CAVEMAN. Then it was a constant fight with the app to try and get the credit card info changed so i could place the order. I finally figured it out after half an hour. If i didn’t like the food so much I wouldn’t have kept trying so many times. In fact, if it took any longer I would probably have gone somewhere else even as good as the chicken is…
Also after you order there is no way to view your order. I have no idea what time it will be ready. I have a screenshot of the order number but I can’t find any way to use the order number to check when it will be ready. The old app was better.

Gas food, gas app, just gas!
App was easy to use. Enjoyed my meal. The Cole slaw is the best.
Bad app and have to registered again
Why would they create a new app and not have their clients information transferred. This app is worse than the last one and had to setup stuff again like I am a brand new customer. So all my past favorite orders are gone. And worse off they never told customers about new app etc. Just had to figure it out when I tried to order. Also why chose location and not give me locations near me not like 1000 miles away.

Why did they create an app that is soooo bad. The first app tracked all my orders. With this so call update I had to re register and input ALL the info again. Horrible update. And… it’s hard to navigate and find meals.

The new app is horrible. None of my information transferred and it didn’t show the location that’s in the same city I live in for weeks. I’ve tried to order several times and I keep getting errors. unfortunately, they won’t get getting my business until they fix their app. Bc
Made it worse
On the previous version of the app they stopped having my location of Bonchon to order from (the store is still very much open) and now with this new version it defaults to a Dallas location along with everything being $99. Yeah no thanks. I’ll just go order in person

Wow! I love Bonchon Chicken, but I wonder why they made a worste app. My previous account didn't transfer, so I had to input all the information again. When I first used the application, it didn't show restaurants near me but ones that were 1000 miles away. I almost ordered for picking up my order from a restaurant that was so far away. :( It feels like they created a really outdated application in 2023. To make matters worse, I didn't even receive a confirmation email after placing my order, so I had to call the restaurant to confirm if they received it. If that's the case, I would have just ordered by phone. Anyway, it's inconvenient.

No difference than ordering on your website
This is one useless app. It just reroute you to thier website and doing your order through there. What is the point of having this app? Pls delete this pc of chicken app and fire the one thought of this idea!!!!
