Unable to Create Account
When using Sign in with Apple, the bp pulse app displays a “Customize the bp pulse app” screen but there are no touch targets. I cannot check the T&C approval checkbox, or click the “Jump right in!” button.
Customize the bp pulse app
App freezes after creating a login. I get to the “Customize the bp pulse app” sheet, where I can’t enter text, and tapping check boxes or buttons does nothing. I have to kill the app. Good thing I was just being proactive in case I needed to charge at one of these stations, and didn’t actually need to charge!

Poor connection
Since the latest update I’ve experienced more time where it would not connect. The previous update was seamless and simple
Worst EV system
Terrible app, can’t see payment panel outside. I just know the cheapest effort and care was put into to all of this.
App update
Old version was working well, new version was messed up, even deleted my account. Since I like bp pulse ev chargers, tried again. Figured it out, the problem while adding payment method it’s when adding the zip code. In USA just use the first five digits of the zip code.
Does not work and does not have Apple/android pay.
Use the screen on the side instead. Do not install this app— it’s a waste of time. You have to create an account and it defaults to sending you garbage marketing emails. Just use the screens on the chargers.
Works better now after update
There’s nothing worse than an app that doesn’t keep you signed in and you have to keep adding your info to over and over!… come on devs fix this
Not happy
It keeps logging me out then when I try to sign in is telling me to try again I’ve deleted reinstalled and still won’t let me do anything
Terrible after update
Whatever recent update they made to the app as of 5.23.26 it’s so terrible. It forces you to try logging in with your phone number first then after verifying with the code, it still forces you to input data and verify again with email. Then you get to the “account creation” loading box and it just craps out and gives options to logout or try again. Pressing try again does nothing but make the same pop-up reappear. Tried killing the app, waiting 30 secs, and starting again, it’s now stuck on the splash screen. Tried killing all apps and restarting my phone entirely, then booting again. Still just stuck on the splash screen. Tried having someone else install to see if I could use the app from their phone. Can’t login at all. Tried clicking the map. It shows 2 chargers available at nearest location to my house. When you click the pin point, it doesn’t pull up location details like before, it shifts the entire map. I just want to charge my car. Some of us live in locations where chargers are very far away and I’ve been relying on this app before I decided to update it yesterday. That update decision was clearly a huge mistake.

Last version
After the update getting worst…Lost all my past transactions, my infos and payments info that I had to input again, nothing anymore on my history.
Hard to find and select the stall, need to enter a code instead click on the list. Boring!

Don’t use!
Wasted 45 minutes of my life, trying to connect to four different chargers at this location use them before now this stupid app is down worst charging station ever, called the 800 number that was another waste of 10 minutes of my life
New Update is a disaster
I haven’t had issues using the app in months. Then as soon as this update happens not only do I have reenter all of my information like I’m creating a new account, the app won’t even connect to the charger to start the process. Give a big round of applause for the genius who decided the app needed an update. I’ll be charging at a competitor for the foreseeable future.

Unable to authorize any of my cards
I am not surprised BP charging station was completely empty. Instead of just swiping card to charge like Electrify America, they require app AND card added to the app. OK, Tesla does the same. But it works while BP app was unable to add any of my cards. People, make it as gas station - swipe card, charge.
UPD - received response that this is “like Tesla”. Well, Tesla is BAD example, with their screens and apps all over.
One more time - must be like gas station. Swipe, charge. No 7 different apps. And besides, why there is an assumption that even must own a smartphone?

Card authorization page in the app does not work
Tried 3 different cards from 3 different issuers. All got denied by the app for an unknown reason. The payment terminal on the charger took the card without any issues but I missed out on the app discount. Disappointed
Bad app
They re-did the app and now I can’t add my card to the new app. Why fix something that isn’t broken? Sounds like people trying to justify their job.

At this hour ~8am PDT 2025-04-08, Payment card entry in the bp pulse app failed entirely for all four credit and debit cards attempted. Inasmuchas these cards work on my other apps, i have come to believe that the failure is on the bp pulse end. Plus, 2 of the 4 chargers at the location that includes 02-3008 are out of service, yet your app believes that all are operable.
AND the app support email address is unknown to the server. What a cluster.

Old app was much better
New app is harder to use and won’t let me register any of my debit or credit cards. Had to tap the charging terminal instead of using the app.

To me this is what all charging stations should look like. Tons of fast chargers available and ALL working.
