needs work
So far with my initial savings account opening and the strain that it took to connect to an external checking account (in the US) it was very mysterious whether or not I made the connection. It took three or four days to find out whether or not I had a connection and if the $100 deposit was successful. Now with a new savings account in place, maybe, this app and site needs work. It’s too difficult to drill in deep enough to find find out where and how to add an account to make deposits from, …….which for me was the SAME ACCOUNT that I made a deposit from days previous. My test drive of Bread Savings account isn’t scoring very high for them yet.

I can’t even login it goes straight to an endless loop of two step notifications. Complete waste.
Higher rates may not be worth it
Competitive rates but app is not user friendly. They have made it more difficult to talk to a real person. Instead they use AI and you wait to see if they take the action you directed them to
Mobile check deposit needs improvement
Keeps saying check amount doesnt match photo. They were an exact match. Had to perform several attempts to get it to function

I’m earning interest on my savings plus it’s easy to transfer money to my other bank as needed.
Amazing Customer Service
They ensure you are completely taken care of before they hang. Also, they are all from the USA so there are no language barriers or hard accents.
App horrible when compared to Discover and Marcus
How hard is it to make a good app? Just copy what Discover or Marcus does. Rather go with them for lower rate to avoid how horrible this app is.

The $5,000 daily limit for transfers out is too low
A Great savings app
I normally don’t leave reviews, but I think this app deserves one! 😄 I’ve been using Bread Savings for almost a year and I really like how simple and easy it is to use. I can see how much interest my money is earning each day, and I love being able to open multiple savings accounts and organize them by different goals. The rate has gone down a little, but it’s still competitive. I also like that you can start with just $100. Hopefully, the rate stays competitive! Overall, I’m very happy with the app and would definitely recommend it.

App stopped working
I am a Bread Savings account holder living overseas and the app and website both stopped working for me (even with a VPN). The servers have been down for over 24 hours. Please resolve this.
New update broke the app
The app no longer allows you to log in after the latest update.
What happened?
Used to work great. Now the app won’t open. Customer support link opens a web page, no support. “Contact us” has no contact info. 🙄

Just deposited a check into my Bread Savings account, it does not indicate a pending deposit nor does it indicate the routing number and account number from which this check is written. I have no idea if this check has actually been deposited or not.

Easy to navigate
Simple High-yield Savings
Simple and effective. Transfers and external account connections all take 3 days to complete. That’s the only catch to this bank. Thats not at all a problem for a savings account such as this. Strongly recommended
