Glitching app constantly
This app and program is aweful and keeps freezing and glitching!! It’s crazy how bad the app is. Online computer portal is much better but freezes constantly. Maybe the worst app I’ve ever used!!
Extremely limited app
I have never used a banking app with such limited functionality. It’s 2026. Why can’t I see other people’s expenses? Why can I see which cards we’ve issued? Why can’t I look at spend over time? They’ve put such little effort into this app.
The worst
The worst travel / expense app I’ve ever used. Not at all intuitive, and there are constant glitches (where buttons just won’t work).

Aggravatingly Limited
I’ve used a few different deficient mobile apps over the year—Concur, Expensify—but for all my complaints, I find myself longing for their sweet embrace again. This app is a train wreck.
iOS sharing functionality to Brex is extremely limited, it seems completely unwilling to believe that I might dare have a receipt in PDF format, and rather than assuming an unmatched receipt might be a new expense to ingest and process, it seemingly rejects it for lack of matching. Perhaps that works better if you exclusively use their payment card rather than a personal card.
When it does work in its limited capability, it’s fine. Pictures seem to be fine for receipts, for example, but those longing to long press their hotel receipts into the app will not find relief here. Off thee to the web page and actual functionality.

Unsuitable for Most Businesses
A fair warning as I’ve had a lot of issues with this fintech company because it’s not an actual bank. This most likely will affect your businesses access to the business funds.
Very glitchy, need to force close a lot
This app, when it works well, is great. But it is so glitchy that I need to force close the app all the time. It shows options that I cannot select, screens that don’t change, and it just all around poor coding.
Fix Your Mobile App!
Brex worked fine for a couple months but recently (past 6 months or so) the mobile app doesn’t work well for reimbursement and sometimes booking. I used to be able to take a picture of my receipt to submit right away. The app will scan the picture of the receipt well but good luck with any other functionality.
Typically I try once or twice in hopes that restarting the process will help only to have the “submit” button not work after entering my memo for the expense. Great app if only it were reliable.

Stuck in Update Required
It says “update required.” So I downloaded the update, restarted, and it still says that. The App Store says I have the most recent version.
Terrible App
The app is really difficult to use, it has lots of bugs when submitting expenses (lags when typing, jumps between expense). For being a expense management app, its hard to find reports on submitted expenses, all become individual and cant group reports. App is slow and also not pleasant to use
Signs out and fails to sign in frequently
This app has a horrible history of signing out for no reason, then when trying to sign back in it either fails or forces you to click confirm via email after I just completed 2FA via SMS. Then it errors out by saying I’m on a different device or browser after clicking the email on the same mobile device. If I wasn’t forced to use this horrible app I’d delete it.

Good service, but app is unusable for reimbursements
If the app just worked I’d love it. It takes me maybe 5-6 tries of opening and force quitting the app to be able to submit a reimbursement. During the process, when uploading a receipt, filling out details, and hitting submit - almost ALWAYS one of the fundamental buttons just doesn’t work. The ‘Submit’ button after filling everything out just doesn’t function, no matter what I do. It’s like you’re not even pressing it. That or even just pressing the + to submit a reimbursement.
It’s ungodly infuriating. It sometimes takes me 30 min to submit two reimbursements with how much I have to just quit and start over. iPhone 16, latest software but have had this prob for months. PLEASE FIX THIS

Update- can’t login
Can’t login. 2-FA sent to my email that verifies on my browser. It doesn’t work, always says I’m not on the same device. My browser is logged into the same email. App is worthless now
Filing mileage reimbursement Trip Type
I am not able to select multi-stop anymore, they made changes on the interface, I message on facebook messenger to report and included videos, they acknowledge but never heard again.
Once receipt is uploaded it stops working
I am having a lot of trouble adding expense to the Brex . Tried installing and reinstalling but hard luck everytime. Most of the time touch don’t work. If it works , once I upload a receipt , now it becomes very limited . Dropdown stops working …Additional receipts could not be added.. No submit draft or save draft works. Worse .

Best App Ever!
Is amazing for all my expense management needs. And I love the flexibility and ease of use with the corporate cards.
iOS 26 Issues
CANNOT SCROLL YOUR BANK TRANSACTIONS (underneath actual Brex bank accounts). Scrolling on the Brex Card transactions works fine (under Wallet). But if you click into Accounts Tab > Select an Account (e.g., Primary checking)…. You CANNOT scroll down to see anything more than the first few transactions on the screen. Wow.

Camera function not reliable
Taking pictures of receipts should be better. You cannot zoom in or crop receipts. it would be good if the camera functions was able to detect and capture only your receipts.
