One of the worst service experiences I have ever had.

I paid around ₹10,900 to Broomees, and the moment the payment was completed, the entire attitude of the company changed. Before payment, they continuously follow up and promise smooth service, but after payment, they practically disappear.

They assign a so-called “Relationship Manager,” but there is absolutely no relationship management, no accountability, no proper response, and no concern for customers. Most of the time, you are left chasing them for updates while they ignore calls and messages.

This app feels less like a service platform and more like a trap to collect customers’ money. Once you pay, consider your money gone. Refund policies are cleverly hidden behind complicated terms and conditions that are never properly explained before payment. But the second you ask for a refund, suddenly they become very active — only to deny it using those same hidden policies.

The customer support experience is frustrating, exhausting, and mentally draining. Instead of solving issues, they make customers run in circles. The company seems more focused on protecting its money than providing genuine service.

Please do not get influenced by the Shark Tank hype. A TV appearance does not guarantee honesty or professionalism. I learned this lesson after wasting almost ₹11,000 on this app.

I genuinely regret trusting Broomees. I would strongly advise people to stay away from this platform unless they are ready to risk losing their hard-earned money and peace of mind.

Read all negative reviews carefully before making any payment. I honestly do not want anyone else to go through this frustrating experience.

Unprofessional staff and poor client support

I am extremely disappointed with the services provided by Broomees. While they were highly active and responsive before taking the payment, their professionalism completely disappeared after the payment was made.

It has been more than 15 days, and they still have not provided us with a babysitter. Despite not providing any actual service, they continue deducting days from the premium plan, which is completely unfair and unacceptable.

The babysitters who approached us have also been making unreasonable and false demands that are clearly against Broomees’ own stated company policies. On top of that, their Relationship Manager is extremely difficult to contact. Calls are rarely answered, and there is little to no proper support or accountability from their side.

Another major issue is that our address on the application keeps getting changed incorrectly, even after getting it corrected multiple times. This has caused repeated inconvenience and confusion.

As parents looking for reliable childcare support, this experience has been stressful and frustrating. Broomees seriously needs to improve their customer support, professionalism, and service management. At the moment, I would not recommend their services based on my experience.

Pathetic service and poor customer service

This app is a scam. Do not be fooled. If you try booking through this app, you will suffer 9/10 times. Either the worker will not show up after taking the subscription and they will start with their “10 working day replacement policy” but will refuse to extend the subscription for the time their was no worker at your place. They refuse to provide refund even they are unable to arrange a worker for even 1 month. The workers allotted do not respect the 3 leaves a month rule and most of them take 7 leaves a month. I am saying this because i suffered because I took 1 year subscription and suffered a lot with no worker for almost 2 months at my place despite paying upfront subscription. So this is an absolute scam. Do not trust them. Their customer service support via relationship manager is pathetic and when you ask for replacement when the worker does not show up, they repeat only these words of 10 working day replacement. Trust your local neighbourhood maids more than these app. I learnt it the hard way when I lost money on their app. I’m still trying for refund which they refuse to provide.

Pathetic Experience

On 26th March 2026, we booked a daily cook service. We live on the 3rd floor, and the first cook come downstairs on 29th March, she refused to climb the stairs, saying she could not do that every day. We then waited for a second profile. She was supposed to come as per Broomes Mr Rohan (RM) on 1st April but did not show up, and there was no update from Broomes. When I contacted them, the cook informed us that she would not be coming. Again, there was no proactive communication from the Broomes staff—I had to follow up myself.
After raising the concern, Broomes provided a third profile. When she joined on 2nd April, on the very first day, she cleaned utensils in a very unhygienic way without using soap, just rinsing with water. Today 3rd Apil, we observed that she was not properly cleaning vegetables or food before cooking. For example, when asked to cook rice, she simply dipped it in water once and put it directly into the cooker.
I shared this experience with Mr. Rohan (RM), but he seemed very unconcerned. I asked him, if we fall ill due to such unhygienic food, who would be responsible? He showed no seriousness and kept repeating scripted responses. He said they would assess the cook for the next two days and then update us. Does that mean we are expected to eat unhygienic food for two more days? We have infants at home—this is unacceptable.
This has been a very pathetic and unprofessional experience with Broomes.
When I asked for a refund of the subscription fee, it was clearly denied, stating that there is no refund policy. We now feel scammed and defrauded.

I would strongly recommend going with another company instead of Broomes

Worst service provider

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the Broomees app. This has been one of the most frustrating and misleading service subscriptions I’ve ever taken.
Firstly, the quality of workers provided was unacceptable. One of the workers, Shashi, openly admitted on the very first day that she was cooking for the first time. I literally had to teach her how to cook — imagine paying for a service and then training the worker yourself! The other workers, Saraswati Kumari and Susheela, were also not able to cook properly, which clearly shows poor screening and training from Broomees.
What’s worse is their complete lack of accountability. Despite these clear service issues, the company falsely claims there were “no service-related concerns” just to avoid providing replacements. This is extremely dishonest.
At the time of subscription, they promised that in case of service issues, unlimited replacements would be provided. However, when actual problems occurred, they suddenly changed their stance and started counting every replacement against a limit. This is a classic case of mis-selling and lack of transparency.
Even after such poor service, they are now refusing further support and pushing for a subscription upgrade instead of resolving the issue. This clearly shows that customer satisfaction is not their priority.
They had also committed to providing a partial refund if services were discontinued, but now that too seems doubtful.
Overall, Broomees is highly unprofessional, unreliable, and misleading. I would strongly advise others to stay away from this app unless you want to waste your time, money, and energy.

Will not recommend

Seriously won’t recommend this app to anyone who wants a nanny to take care of their children. They take subscription for three months to provide Nannie’s. But these Nannie’s they won’t reveal much information and they directly send the person to house to take care of children. No experience Nannie’s are usually sent and sometimes they take so much time to place a nanny and even that won’t be a perfect one for your little ones. You better get people from your network and get hired rather than choosing someone. Oh and also if any change of plans in your schedule their customer service is only from 10-7 and nanny won’t be updated at all.

Terrible service

Once I purchased their 6-month subscription for ₹8,000 (this is separate from the ₹4,500 I pay my cook monthly), the service quality dropped drastically. Until the payment was made, they were in regular contact. After receiving the money, they became completely unresponsive.

It took an unreasonably long time to assign a cook, despite repeated follow-ups from my side. When a cook was finally assigned, their claim of providing “well-trained” cooks turned out to be completely false. The cook is incapable of preparing decent food, is irregular, and is never on time.

I have been trying to contact them again to request a cook replacement, but I receive no replies at all. Overall, extremely disappointing service and absolutely not worth the money.

It’s a scam! Fraudsters

It's a scam!

Their entire system is flawed.

I paid 15k upfront as their so called commission, but here’s what actually happened:

AI Assessments?
Their nanny assessments have moved to AI. As much as I appreciate technology, assessing someone who will be with our child for 8 hours a day is not something an AI tool should be doing. This is not a project — this is childcare.

No Training Provided
The nannies they send clearly lack basic training. One nanny didn’t even know how to put on a diaper properly — she put it on backwards and didn’t notice when our son wet himself because it couldn’t soak. This happened twice.

Unprofessional Attendance
Shockingly, almost every nanny decided to take leave on the second or third day without any prior intimation. The lack of punctuality and seriousness is unbelievable.

Lack of Transparency
The only “profile” visible on the app is a masked Aadhaar card with just a first name. No police verification, no background details, nothing. And as parents, we are somehow expected to trust a nanny we know nothing about. How is that acceptable?

And when you ask for a refund, they GHOST you. No amount of escalation helps.

Avoid at all costs

Broomees Is a Complete Failure.
One of the worst decisions I’ve ever made when it comes to household help. The maids they provided was never punctual, constantly took leaves without informing, and was so poorly trained that basic tasks became a headache. On top of that, her behaviour was downright toxic — rude, combative, and always picking fights with other staff in the house. Instead of easing work, she created daily chaos and tension.

But the real icing on this disaster cake is Broomees’ so-called customer support. Their call centre is a masterclass in avoidance — they’ll put you on endless hold, stop answering altogether, and basically disappear the moment you need help. They kept promising replacements and never delivered a single one.

Paying them honestly feels like burning money for absolutely nothing. Broomees is unreliable, unprofessional, irresponsible, and shockingly careless at every level.

If you value your time, money, or sanity, stay far, far away from Broomees. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare.

Found Broomies to be of best help

My maid was gone for 15+ days. Mostly in the place where I live the maids are usually not going work for less than one month. Many of my things were left behind. I found Broomies on demand option excellent… be at house help, dish dishwashing, or the whole day cleaning.
I find it worth calling them. Better to have washed your utensils rather than dirty.

1 month Post-service review

My review is based on their on-demand time-based services. Ive been hiring their cleaners for a month now. There’s PROs to Broomees, major one being the RM assigned to you. Eliminates the need of negotiation and pricing directly w/ the helper. I find my RM, Harsh, to be their USP as he has been of immense help being an intermediary. Sometimes helping me assign a preferred worker who’d be booked somewhere else, or even responding out of work hours. Another pro is their user friendly app, however some terms for subscription models are not mentioned on the app for long-term hires. The cons include a sudden 20% pricing hike I faced in the first month of using Broomees. Another, sadly, is the inefficiency, and ineffective work done by some cleaners. I’m yet to find a cleaner that doesn’t have to be babysat for a whole hour. No matter how long the service, none of them look back to check if there’s stains or dirt left behind. Yet to find an independent helper.

Pathetic Experience

Their Service and app both have been pathetic. Tried for a year now and i guess changed 4 to 6 workers .. all of them had issues ..

And the backend broomees people too are not reachable most of the time but suddenly become sincere and available whenever subscription is ending.

Overall paid extra to broomees.. extra to normal maids.. and at the end it was below average work and service

Bad Support and Poor response times

Extremely poor service and support — disappointing experience

I purchased their 6-month service for an “All Rounder” and when I asked for task-based service, they told me I had to upgrade for another 6 months!

Later, I decided to get a replacement for my All Rounder (8 hours) — they confirmed the replacement, let the old one go, but the new person never joined. I was left in the middle of nowhere and even had to explain to the old staff why this decision was made, while their team completely stepped back from the situation.

Their support system is horrible. Even if they pick up your call, you’ll end the conversation without a proper solution.

👉 My honest suggestion: Think twice before subscribing. I’d strongly recommend going with Urban Company instead. Much more reliable.

Worst service - it’s a scam

We booked the monthly maid service - they took a 7k subscription fee upfront (not including maids salary) saying that their team works in the background and the maid never showed up on the first day. They said they will arrange for another maid and the next day the same thing happened- the maid didn’t show up. This company is taking your money upfront and scamming customers. Just avoid this service

Don’t fall for fake promises

We had a disappointing experience with Broomees. Before subscribing, everything seemed promising, but after taking the service, the experience was completely different. The promises made were not fulfilled, and the staff provided were not properly trained. It feels like the focus is only on hiring for the sake of numbers rather than quality. It’s concerning to trust inexperienced people with our loved ones. I’d suggest being cautious before subscribing.

Very poor

I had booked a cleaning service on 4th Oct, and I’m very disappointed with the experience. The service was quite poor — only the room where I was sitting was cleaned properly, while the rest of the house was left dusty. The person mopped the floor but didn’t even throw away the used water, and the kitchen slab was left dirty. I honestly wouldn’t consider booking again if this is the level of service provided.

Fraud Alert

I had a very disappointing experience with Broomees.

Their own policy clearly states that booking fees are refundable if a suitable helper is not found within 7 working days. My subscription started on September 11th, which meant the deadline was September 19th. However, they only sent someone on September 25th — 14 days after payment, already breaching their own terms.

To make matters worse, the worker provided was unprofessional, untrained, and unable to perform the agreed duties, which by no reasonable standard qualifies as a “suitable helper.”

When I raised this, the company tried to hide behind a “reset TAT” argument, which doesn’t even apply since the initial contractual obligation had already been broken. Instead of honoring their refund policy, they refused to return my ₹7,291, despite being in clear violation of their own terms.

This shows not just poor service but also bad-faith handling of customer grievances. I expected professionalism and accountability, but received neither.

I strongly caution others to think twice before trusting this company.

Refusing Refund After One Day of Service

Paid ₹6,050 for Broomees maid service. Maid showed up only one day, didn't come the next day. When I contacted support, they asked my wife to negotiate timing and pricing directly with the maid. Requested refund after canceling, but they are not processing it. Poor service and even worse customer support. Save your money and find help locally. Not recommended.

Easy to book, got a cleaner for my office for 4 hours who was neat, clean and efficient. , easy to get in touch with the efficient customer care - thanks Harsh for making the process smooth and easy. Will be using again in future.
