This app is unusable. The app is basically the website which is also unusable. Unbelievably slow. Difficult to apply points. If you click the Account button it deletes your cart. Please do better

I swear nothing I’ve had ever compares to the ice cream they serve here, I’m so grateful I found this place because it genuinely has a special place in my life.

Can’t log in
I already created a rewards account using my phone number, and when I tried to log in to the app, my only option to use was my email address.
I can’t create an account with email and password, because my phone number is already associated with an account.
So, the app is of no use to me.

Receipt Retrieval
I was disappointed to see that there was no way or at least one I could figure out easily to print out a receipt that should be tied to your account.
So slow…
The app takes forever to load in half the time you can’t place an order. Don’t waste your time.

Slow and constantly trying to verify location
Every time I change screens the app the app requires inputting the location either by checking it or inputting a zip code. You would think that once you choose a store the app could remember it during the same session.
Changing screens also has quite a delay (while slowly spinning fruit is displayed).

Love the Ice Cream, Hate the App
A Bruster’s scooper told me about pre-ordering online or on the app. Online worked great, but the app has major issues. Yesterday it took me almost an HOUR to order a shake and a cup. FIVE TRIES of going through the menu, choosing the flavors, adding to the order, choosing the next item, scrolling through to choose the flavors, adding to the order, choosing the time, going back to check my email for the coupon code, tapping the checkout button, tapping the pay now button, watching the cherries spin, and ending back at the order page. I tried the Apple Pay button. Same result. Back to choose a location, etc, etc, etc.
FINALLY, on what was going to be my last attempt before switching to the DQ app, I hit the pay button and it asked for my CC info. Talk about frustrating! I love this ice cream, and the employees are great, but I’ll be ****ed if I’m ever going to spend an hour trying to order ice cream for the grandkid. FIX IT!!!
BTW, this wasn’t the first time I’ve had trouble. One recent occasion, the scooper couldn’t find my order, started it anyway and gave it to me. Turns out that order never went through, either. I felt so bad I went back and tipped him $10. At least two other occasions before that.

Doesn’t function properly at all. This app belongs in 2006 on an iPhone 3. It’s a crime that it’s available to download

Online order didn’t work
I did an order and paid for it, but the app had no purchase history and the store in question didn’t “receive” the order and wouldn’t honor or refund me.
Favorite Ice Cream!
Bruster’s is our favorite ice cream! The waffle cones are made there and taste so much better than any other brand we’ve had! A flavor for any mood or craving you’ve got! Such a sweet treat!

Barely works
Every time we use this app we end up hitting some button that takes you back to the start and empties the cart. Test your app and move the close button away from submit. Don’t have it reset if you hit back - basic things!
