1.2.40 just terrible. If ur using the carrier or Bryant version it stinks. Dozens of emails for a single change with no information except “a change was made”. Well no duh. What change? Wall controller not in sync with app, UI is terrible and overall poor quality and no testing.

Constant re-authentication, near unusable app
After the most recent update, you need to constantly re-authenticate every single time you open the app.
Please fix this, the app was fine previously, and authenticating once every 2-3 months is reasonable.
But this bug makes it nearly unusable with the constant authenticating every time one goes to change the temp.
Besides that, app was great.

Remote control not working
It happens multiple times that when I started heating on my app, the home control plane wasn’t updated when the change. It looks like there is something wrong with their backend.
Not user friendly
I am in IT, this layout is not inherently obvious to control to unit. Could be much simpler without need for training on a simple app.

Not very intuitive
The App doesn’t flow well in my opinion. Setting a time schedule takes several windows. Good luck adjusting fan speed. The weather portion of the thermostat display is correct 50% of the time. Shows rain often on a bright sunny day.

UI is terrible
Previously I would have given a 3 star review. But now I find the app confusing and unnecessarily complex. Needs to be simplified so I can just set my temp for each zone. More options does not mean a better experience

Constantly drops connection
What good is a remote thermostat app that is never connected? It’s the most basic part of the app and keeps losing connection.

It won’t let me sign up. Keeps sending code to my email, I type correctly in the box and keeps giving me an error message

This is a poorly designed app that is not user friendly. If you want me to enter Wi-Fi password ask for it. Spent over an hour screwing around trying to get this app set up. Waste of time.
Thermostat goes off line too often
Why is your thermostat going off line so often. My WiFi is fine. Nothing else goes off line, but your thermostat. Already happened 2 times this week. Have to reboot it to have it online again. Please fix.

Missing system
We replaced another HVAC system and was unable to add the device to the app.
Finally we were able to add the device to our account via the Bryant website. The app shown a tab for our basement device with no controls. Another tab in the app shows the device is ‘online’.
The app has never worked well, however, this is a new level of dysfunction.

Absolutely Horrible, inept and useless. They broke what did work with an update.
The app worked nicely in the past, but with one update, they made it so that it disconnects continuously and temperature cannot be controlled remotely. Set up must be done again to repair the problem and then it will reoccur continually. They told me they were releasing an update which would fix this, but unsurprisingly, the problem still exists and is completely infuriating. The basic functions do not work and have not been working, and the problem that virtually every recent reviewer has mentioned has gone unsolved and it appears that Bryant does not take the complaints seriously. Avoid their system and this program if you have any need at all to remotely control your system.

Data and charts
Been using the app for the last 6 months since having the system installed. Coming from the Google Nest system, it’s been a downgrade in UI as well as data. Would love to see more data and charts showing run time and other granular info.
Works, but unstable and loses contact with therms. Not reliable enough for remote access
The old app was far better. This new one gives good control when it connects. But the cloud server they use will drop connections from the thermostats. One can reset, but they continue to lose connection. It is not stable enough to rely on if you require remote access.
Price Setting
The app needs to allow for tiered pricing, otherwise home owners will find this feature useless.
Intermittently posts a waving hand greeting when opening app
Would really like for this greeting to go away…It is irritating to me. Hoping that Bryant Smart Home APP can allow me to delete this function….
