Wish i could give it 4 or 5 stars
We use BT for sharing job status (daily logs), time tracking, planning and scheduling. As the owner of the construction company, the price to value has diminished as BT gave us notice of a 50% price increase this year with a very short warning (30 days). I do not know if price increase was for all users, or targeted users that are embedded in the program after a few years. NOT a good business practice either way. Caveat emptor. The software is a bit clunky, but usable. I would NOT use it for financial data as BT makes it VERY HARD to extract your data…. I would prefer if BT kept their customers by providing excellent service and value… not through making it hard to leave. The help desk (phone support) is helpful… the queue is anywhere from immediate to 8 deep… they cancelled their help desk call back feature.

Not built for construction
Buildertrend was built by software people not builders. It is useless for estimating has no submittal functions and the workflow for rfis is a joke. There is a reason they won't let you demo the product. Don't waste your money or time.

Overwhelming and Frustrating to Navigate
Worst part of the build process this app is. Hard to make sense of the information if you can find what you’re looking for at all. Have complained to my builder, DiYanni, but they’ve drank the koolaid and won’t listen. Horrible too from a customer standpoint.
Broken app
Was working perfectly until yesterday’s update. Now I cannot open change orders and get an infinite loading spinning wheel
