Worked perfectly until I upgraded to iPhone 18 pro max. Now the app stopped generating delivery pass codes.
Add a “Select All” Button When Deleting Videos
Please add a ‘Select All’ button when deleting videos, so users can quickly choose all items instead of selecting them one by one
Overall awesome but
Overall awesome experience and product just have one problem the app needs to support FIDO2 or physical key so in case of the devices go off-line these cars could just be used to a bachelor so I don’t see the point of having it if it goes off-line and it’s locked out all out
Good except for one fatal flaw
This app is generally a stable and performant way to give remote access to doors in my building.
Unfortunately, it is able to over-ride Do Not Disturb in a way that opens the door to abuse. Delivery people simply call random residents in my building when they want to get in… which has caused Butterfly MX to ring me at unacceptable frequency at all hours of the night, for deliveries and visitors that are not mine.
As a result, I have been forced to disable all notifications from this app — which prevents visitors from being able to call me.

Need to be able to personalize texts
So after going through the process and the pass is made, when the notification texts go out, it’s automated from the property manager and the address in the text is incorrect. There’s no way to change it. I know that is not necessarily Butterfly’s issue, but Butterfly should allow you to send your own message with the link in the text. Personally, I would include instructions on how exactly to get to my apartment once they’re in the building, which I end up having to send separately anyway because people are confused.
So yeah…Butterfly is not great, but an easy fix could make it so much better. Sometimes people are able to use it with no issue, but it is so rare, I’d almost rather we just go back to the old days when we buzzed people in with a button on the wall.

Poorly Designed.
This app is extremely poorly designed. Why does the app make me create a new passcode for a visitor after it expires instead making me create a new one? Also doesn’t work half the time.
Poor notifications lead to missed deliveries.
I hate this app. The way it handles notifications is so unobtrusive as to be nonexistent. The notification sound is so subdued that it’s imperceptible unless you’re in a silent room. The notification banner is also easily missed.

Doesn’t ever work on first try
I don’t understand how this has such a good rating. The widget never works the first try, making me wait 7 seconds to try again. 7 seconds isn’t long but dealing with it while trying to drive into my apartment garage or at a door with my hands full every day is beyond obnoxious.
Key fobs, sensor stickers on my windshield for garages, and tapping my phone on a sensor like at work are all much more convenient options I wish my apartment had.
