Wonderful service

Always helpful and they saved me from taking unnecessary trips to a medical office

Convenient

So happy with the services provided. Comes in handy especially on the weekends when my Doctors office is closed.

Be warned they may suddenly not refill a med they have refilled 6 times in the past!

I recently submitted a refill request for a med that I have been on for 14 years and Call on Doc has refilled for me 6 times in the past. A provider by the name of “Whitney G” refused to refill my med saying it can’t be managed online. If that’s true then why has this service refilled it 6 times for me?? It’s not controlled and it does not require lab monitoring. My condition is stable and my dose has remained the same since I started this medication 14 years ago!
Anyway, not to worry I went to another telehealth service called “General Medicine” who also does text visits and they refilled my med no issue at all. Oh..did I mention I’m also a registered nurse so I know this medication can be managed online?? General Medicine is also cheaper! $30 for a text visit compared to almost $100 for Call on Doc. I’m officially done with Call on Doc forever!

CallOnDoc is a telemedicine platform designed by medical practitioners to provide patients with convenient and affordable online medical consultations. It allows users to connect with physicians for a wide range of conditions, receive prescriptions, and obtain doctor's notes.

What kind of medical conditions can be treated through CallOnDoc?

The platform treats over 70 different conditions online, categorized into areas like urgent care, STDs, women's health, men's health, primary care (including chronic condition management), mental health, and dermatology. This includes common issues like ear infections, allergies, diabetes, asthma, and hypertension.

How much does a visit to CallOnDoc cost?

The mission of CallOnDoc is to make healthcare affordable and accessible. Most visits cost $39.99, which is comparable to the average co-pay for in-person doctor's visits with many insurance carriers.

How does CallOnDoc work?

Users can choose between an asynchronous visit or a phone visit with a medical provider. The process involves selecting a condition, answering questions about medical history and symptoms, and then receiving a prescription that can be picked up at a pharmacy or delivered to your home.

Is CallOnDoc available on different devices?

While the description doesn't explicitly state device compatibility, telemedicine platforms like CallOnDoc are typically accessible via web browsers on computers and mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) with internet access.
