I must be on a newer version than the 1 star reviewers are on because my app works flawlessly. It’s super simple and easy to use. I lost my credit card once and it was just a few steps to deactivate it and send me a new one! I was going to go through a whole complicated thing calling my card company and trying to figure something out but this app came in clutch. 5 stars well deserved 🫡

Cannot receive security token after password expires
There’s no any notification before the password is going to expire so I can’t login and I can’t get security token to reset my password even I check my junk email, there’s nothing there
This app is garbage
If I could give this app a -1000 rating then I would. When I try to register as a new user and enter in my birth date, it keeps saying “Invalid format”. I have tried every format humanly possible and keep getting the same message. I’ve called support and they couldn’t figure out what’s wrong. I’ve cleared the cache and I’ve tried using my phone and laptop with no results. I even tried incognito mode. I’m seriously considering cancelling the Collabria card I just received just to not have to use this stupid app

I am forced to use this app
This app sucks. Every couple months it stops working and won’t load. The only fix is deleting the app and downloading again.
Worst App Ever
Trying to use this app with a password manager is pure hell. The app is so insanely stupid about security theatre it makes it hard to use. UI is not intuitive either. I DREAD paying my bill every month. Forced password resets are out of date for current guidelines and the person who originally came up with the idea has even retracted the advice! I just finished being forced to change a perfectly good strong secure password through the app with my password manager and it took over ten minutes of confusion and struggle (I am tech literate). What a NIGHTMARE. I want my time and sanity back.

If this is the app your credit card provider is suggesting you use, cancel the card. Processing times and transaction processing times make no sense. If you’re traveling often, good luck knowing the activity on your card and what transactions are valid or are being held. The big banks have one major advantage, integration and real time tracking of transactions and payments.

This app needs work
Its so hard to login, because the keyboard wont go away for me to press login. Classic janky Canadian made app. I will hardly be using this credit card. And the cherry on top, if you read the third party agreement, they want access to EVERYTHING, what you type, what you look at, your scrolling, your emails, your photos etc. I shouldnt have to give up my privacy rights just to pay my credit card or view transactions.

CardWise Mobile app
Honestly one of the worst app interfaces I’ve ever had to use. I am genuinely considering never using this card again because of how bad the app is. Not only is it not user friendly, i takes ages for it to load up. Certain features are just purely terrible, every-time you guys add an update it’s just extra steps that are brutal and annoying. As a bank, you’d think that you would have a bigger budget for your online banking apps but i don’t know what you guys are doing with that money cause it surely isn’t going towards making this app any better. At this point im going to switch banks but for anyone who does a lot of online banking and are constantly needing to use the bank apps, CardWise is not it.

It simply doesn’t work.
I’ve been trying to log into the app and website for a couple days now. It just doesn’t work. So I figured, ok maybe I forgot my password (I didn’t, but entertained the idea) so I click the “Forgot password” option, type in my email as prompted. It says it sent a security token to my email. It never arrives. So I thought okay maybe it’s the wrong email, but then I look at the history and nope, it’s the right email. I still get my monthly statements on that email. So that just doesn’t work.
Next I thought okay, we’ll maybe I’m using the wrong username. So I click the “Forgot username” option. It wants me to put in my credit card info. I do it, and it tells me IT DOESNT RECOGNIZE MY CREDIT CARD. Like how am I still able to use my credit card but yet it’s somehow not recognized?
So I try calling. I explain the issue, and they just tell me “the services are down right now, try later”. Very helpful. It’s been weeks now. Still the same problem.
So I try emailing, literally just no reply. Absolutely dead end there.
I try one last thing I could think of, which would be to choose the “new user” option and re-register my card under a new account. So I give my email, credit card info, and guess what…just when I think this will finally work I get hit with a “CardWise services are down right now” message.
So I really have no choice but to go to my bank to hopefully get them to help me pay off whatever Im owing and obviously cancel the credit card.
It’s not even just the app; the online website is the exact same. And there’s no helpful costumer support. There’s no active social media to contact. They will ignore your emails. They will tell you to “try again later” if you call. I highly recommend everyone stay far, far away from cardwise and any bank that uses it.

Ugly Greedy App
Not only does their user interface suck, it’s grotesque to look at. Plus Collabria and their greedy policy charges $35 for going over limit. They intentionally allow users to go over limit so they can charge them. Greedy and gross

At least the mafia lets you make payments. The app it rated 18+, so porn filters will stop you from using it.

Works fine for me
I read all the other reviews before downloading but honestly I haven’t had any issues with the app. It shows my balance in CAD, holds all my card details, shows my point balance. Downloaded easily, hasn’t bugged out 🤷♀️
Hate
Hate this app. Hate this credit card. So inconvenient, get any other credit card. Makes me change my password so often and always gives me issues with login. By the time they send me the forgotten password code it’s expired. Can’t get into my account.
Terrible app
This app is pretty bad. It’s almost like viewing something that’s not made for mobile- but it’s an app, so…? Different issue every day. Today I had a hard time logging in and now that I’m in I can’t scroll up to actually get to the part where I can make a payment. This would be a primary function of the app so it’s a bit concerning that it really makes making a credit card payment hard! Last month, I logged on to make a payment and the app kept saying that function isn’t available, try again later. All day. So never wait until a payment due date to try to pay your bill on this app, you may find you’re out of luck so best to always have a few days buffer.

What a painful experience.
Genuinely some of the worst UX I’ve ever seen
You couldn’t make a clunkier app. Half the time you have to go back and re-enter menus when you try to pay balance etc.
Poor Organization
Forgot my password and was sent 10 different emails with the same security token. None of them worked and now my account is disabled. Thank you Cardwise Mobile and Colabria for absolutely nothing but frustration.
18+ rating?! ZERO STARS
Why is this rated 18+? This is a finance app. No other finance apps are rated 18+, that rating is for sexually explicit content. This makes no sense and messes up settings for people who want to protect themselves from some of the garbage content out there. Please adjust the rating appropriately. The app is so clunky and hardly works half the time won’t load.

No longer supports SMS
Very disappointed that card wise chose to discontinue sending SMS messages for transactions. This was an excellent way to catch fraudulent transactions quickly. Yes you can still get it through an email but people get tons of spam emails
