App so poorly designed it has made me lobby for new health insurance at my job
It must be incredible to be so bad at your job that you can release an app like this and not worry about getting fired. If I wasn’t in need of serious medical medical care, it would be funny.
Terrible, slow, crashes
This is such a poor performing “app”. It freezes, loads, crashes out. I can’t expect to use it for even the most basic of functions.
Never works
The app never works for me, and since I can never find the website it makes this insurance very difficult to navigate.

Horrible app
This review is about the app, not the insurance company. It’s by far the worst app on my iPhone. It’s unbelievable how poorly it’s coded. It’s buggy and frustrating to use.
can you go lower than one star?
This app is aweful. No biometric log in. The app times out in about 30 seconds. It's like the web page inside an app, only designed by someone who doesn't have a phone and can only guess at how they are used.
Totally useless
Simply does not work. What the heck?! We pay a lot for our insurance and can’t get the care we need without getting on a desktop or laptop. This is BS. FIX IT NOW.
For a big institution like carefirst this app has to be trash on purpose
You never make any progress on this app. How is it possible my laptop boots from scratch faster than this app. After loading and logging in it successfully logs me out for no reason.
Worst App Ever!
The app is too buggy slow and freezes up multiple times. It feels like using a web browser with only one tab at a time.
Terrible
It somehow makes something as simple as logging in a painful experience, never knowing if it will actually work as it attempts to authenticate credentials between who knows what services…all leading to what feels like an outdated website experience. We were with UHC before and their app was seamless, so I don’t understand why a big company like Carefirst can’t get their app right.

Worst mobile app
I don’t usually write App Store reviews—there are plenty of great apps out there, and even the ones that need improvement are still usable. Unfortunately, the CareFirst mobile app stands out for all the wrong reasons. It’s consistently slow, riddled with bugs, and prone to crashing. Tasks that should be quick and straightforward become frustrating, time-consuming, and sometimes impossible to complete. I genuinely dread having to use this app.

Worst app period
Being a health care insurance provider , it’s not fulfilling its basic requirements for getting things done . Crashing and updating all the time . I will not continue with them for sure next year . Horrible app , waste of time

Can’t even enter username with the new update. Its greyed out.
You cannot use apple password manager. If you try to paste things into the text box it scrolls away. UI looks horrible to say the least. Transports me back to when internet started. It’s so buggy and logs you out. An AI can write a better app than this.

It’s a rhetorical question. You can’t do anything on this app. Not even save ID’s! Who is developing this? Give it to college students, it’ll be better.
