Worst Car Rental App
I do not recommend renting a vehicle through this app. I reserved a car, but at the last minute the pickup location was changed. When I arrived, I was unexpectedly required to pay a $200 security deposit and was told they needed to run a credit check. Because of these unexpected requirements, I was unable to rent the vehicle.
As a result, I had to cancel my students’ field trip, which was extremely disappointing. In the future, I’ll be using Turo instead.

Don’t trust Carla
Offered great rates but booked the car completely wrong. Supposed to be a one way rental and booked as a round trip. Then the day of they just canceled when I pointed this out and left me in an extremely difficult spot. Did not offer any compensation or help. Even a future discount.

Don’t do it it’s a scam they make fake reviews and I lost my money I paid for a car!

I used them to rent a car in Germany travelling from Australia and paid over $400 in advance when I arrived at airport to pick up the car the car rental company at airport told me that they didn’t received the $400 and I had to pay more than the original price when I came back to Carla they said they would give me $125 as carla voucher and didn’t pay paid any thing back to me so be careful with this company

SCAM
Stay far away from this company if possible. They charged me 40 dollars for a rental that they were unable to book for me while also making it impossible to cancel or get a refund. If sure a lot of these reviews are fake. Stick to Enterprise or Turo if you don’t want some 3rd party company ripping you off

Why would you charge people before telling them about the deposit still owed ? I needed a car for my daughter party thinking I paid for the rental in full . To later find out I needed $500 more dollars for a deposit . Once canceled in which I was told how to by a representative they refused to give me my money back but offered to give it to me via credit . This is a scam it’s not clear that a deposit is still needed it’s not clear how to pick up the rental this app caused more problems then it did fixing if you need a rental DO not download this app ! If you have the deposit go straight to the rental companies going third party for the same deposit system but hidden from you is insane!

SCAMMERS
Booked a car through Carla for June 20th to use and when I went to the company to pick up the car the lady at the desk told I shouldn’t have been able to reserve a car since they didn’t have any available. I later emailed Carla for a refund said they will investigate and it should take 5-7 business days to get a refund. It is now June 29th and after emailing Carla back to back they responded today saying with lack of evidence I can’t get my refund!!! Please don’t use this app, they just gonna take your money!!!

This is worst car rental service app you could ever use. This was my first and last experience I will never use this site or recommend it. They charge you extra fees on top of rental fees if there’s an issue with picking up your rental and the rental company cancels they will not refund your money. They are a scam

Update : after contacting many many time through your awful app every other day someone replied and said the same thing, I paid directly to your company and was expecting some respect to customer. You didn’t even take responsibility about not providing me the coverage information, and they said it’s not our responsibility such an awful experience through this app.

SCAMMER
Do NOT use Carla for rentals. They never refused to take my license therefore I never got the car. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my license. When I asked for a refund they just went silent. They’ll do anything to keep your money into their pockets.
The Worst
I WANT MY MONEY BACK. First of all, this is a terrible app, no communication, never provided a pick up location, and when you call, you, don’t talk to a real human. So yes, this app is a 0 out of 10 for me.

Beyond Satisfied!!
Kimberly assisted me and helped me throughout a difficult situation while at the Car Rental desk. She took a situation from being very stressful to not stressful at all and made me grateful for renting from Carla. You truly are the best company and give nothing but the best service. perfect app for car rentals
I’m always skeptical of car rental aggregators because of hidden fees at the counter, but Carla was completely transparent. The price I saw at checkout was exactly what I paid, and the insurance/deposit details were laid out clearly before I finalized everything. No weird surprises when I showed up to grab the keys. Highly recommend if you want a straightforward booking process.
