Don’t waste your money and time
Don’t mislead customers. Initially, you showed my car’s estimated value as around ₹4.6 lakh and informed me that the car inspection was free. After the inspection was completed, the inspection person asked me to pay ₹600 for sell car in auction and after this your car actual value showing. I paid the ₹600, expecting my car to be valued close to the amount initially shown.
After receiving the payment, you added my car to the auction and then informed me that the maximum value of my car was only ₹3.4 lakh. Why was this information not clearly disclosed before I paid the ₹600 inspection fee?
This is misleading and unfair to customers. If the maximum valuation was only ₹3.4 lakh, you should have clearly informed me about this before taking the inspection fee. Please explain why the valuation was initially shown as around ₹4.6 lakh and then reduced to ₹3.4 lakh after I made the payment.
After this, one of your customer executives called me and asked me to pay another ₹799 to list my car on the customer platform. He assured me that my car could be sold for more than ₹4 lakh. However, I would have to spend additional money again without any guarantee of getting that price, which I am not willing to do.
I have now decided to approach Maruti True Value, where I understand there are no hidden charges or processing fees. I have been informed that I may get a valuation of ₹4 lakh or more, and an exchange bonus may also be available if I purchase a new car from Maruti.

I initially installed cars24 to sell my Manza 2010 model. I went through their “get instant car price” portal which gave me an estimate. Then i was instructed to book a free appointment of the car. After the appointment was completed, i was shown to select two types of their auction plans. I was manipulated to buy the costlier option. I was told that the auction and inspection report would appear shortly after i complete their review and ratings of their service employee. The worker did his work professionally so i added a tip. When the inspection report came of my car, it had false information relating to my car such as

Even though all documents were duly provided to the representative. He did not ask me about the spare key too, even though i had it with me. Overall inspection of the car was with very poor accuracy.
I had recently serviced the car which eliminated most of the minor issues in the car. However in the review, everything was exaggerated to be otherwise. This is done deliberately to lower the price of the auction. There is also no other ways to raise a customer complaint other than calling their helpline which is busy throughout the day or writing a review on social media platforms.

Highly Unprofessional Approach
I got my car inspected on Cars24 and they gave it such a poor value, that I was surprised. On the other hand the inspection person who visited gave wrong information about my car in inspection eg. “He mentioned that pollution certificate is not there for the car, even though I shared the document on the app where the RC clearly indicates the PUC expiry date which was valid.” It seems that they intentionally devalued the car, as my car was in good condition and made me a sale offer that was pathetic. The inspection person not only manipulated me to buy a membership for 3 months ad campaign on Cars24, but also asked and took a tip from me. This was done before they gave the value of the car.
After that, when I received call from them for selling the car, they started the conversation with the words “nobody will give even this much for the car”. I was extremely disappointed with their approach. Eventually I reached out to Spinny, where long story short, I sold my car at a price INR 1 Lakh higher than the price quoted by Cars24.
I hope this review reaches out to most of the people, so that you can save yourself from Cars24’s devalued sales trap.

Totally fraud, The biggest fraud company in the market.
Cars24 is a huge fraud company. I tried to sell my car through Cars24, and their engineer came to inspect it. After the inspection, I received a call from a lady named Ayushi from Cars24. She said that if I wanted to list my car for sale, I would have to list it on the Cars24 app and pay an amount of ₹2,124. After that, I would start receiving buyer price offers, and if the offer wasn't satisfactory according to my demanded price, I would get a full refund within 15 days through their refund policy. I told her I would discuss it with my family first. After that, the lady called me 3-4 times daily, urging me to pay the fees. I was busy with work at the time, so I asked for some time. But she kept forcing me, saying that according to their policy, I would get a good price for my car, or I would get a full refund within 15 days. So, I made the payment on November 22, 2025. Now, the important thing is that it's been 41 days since the car was listed, and I've only received one offer, which was a very low price compared to my demanded price, so I rejected it. When I call the lady named Ayushi, she doesn't answer, and when she does, she says, "Sir, I have submitted a request; your refund will arrive." But no refund has come, and now she has stopped answering my calls altogether. These people claim Cars24 is a No. 1 trusted company. So who is responsible for this now? This is a completely fraudulent company; their entire staff is full of dishonest people. Very disappointing. Don't trust them at all.

It's scam, initially after evaluation offered high price so you will be tempted and get multiple calls from. cars 24 representative to accept the price, looking at higher price and follow up for immediate deal, you reject all other offers from other dealers. After accepting the offer they will show that they have scheduled pickup for your car and their representatives will come for car pickup and documentation work at given time be ready with all documents given in list. After that nobody comes, after waiting for hour or two when you call their representative he will say waiting for advance from channel partner and once done they will update you. After that they just back out and gives the reason which shows you have not accepted the price within given time, you are at fault. Then you try to follow up to representatives which do not reply to messages or calls. You try to schedule call back from given link but no call back received afterwards It's scam now if you go to local dealer again they will now offer lower that what was offered earlier. I think they are sharing profits with local dealers with such collaboration. Since I had got calls from local dealers in between offering much lower price and when I said | already have this Xxx price that say you are already getting much higher you can blindly take the offer. Surprise is offer price by dealer is without seeing the car which clearly indicates they are planted.
