They use door dash to process their mobile orders. Sometimes door dash will keep the money and not send the order to the restaurant.

For the last few months, I haven’t been able to order or get any of the deals through the app. There’s always an error at checkout.

Can’t even get a refund if something goes wrong because the store NEVER picks up the phone. I shouldn’t have to call corporate for a simple issue. The frustration isn’t worth dealing with this app

No option for reporting missing/incorrect items.
The App should have an option to call higher ups, not just the store to get at least a partial refund if the order is wrong. The store cant do anything about refunds if theyre out of stock on something, you have to call management. Or add a Support bot like the Popeyes app has to resolve issues. This is the second time im missing something from my order and just have to eat the cost of it.

What we can’t order regular fries now anymore from the app? This is so stupid for them to have “world famous fries“ they’re really doing themselves a disservice by not even allowing you to purchase them individually now. Like whose idea was this? And now they no longer even have deals or anything. I can see why they’re shutting down more and more stores. Just going backwards honestly.

Order confirmation fundamentally broken.
The app will accept an order, confirm it, and tell you it's ready to be picked up... even if the location is closed. And the only way to get a refund is to call that location, which is... closed.

Entirely dysfunctional app
This is genuinely the worst food ordering app I have ever used in my life. The item pages only actually load the info 10% of the time, sometimes you’ll try to add something to your cart and it’ll say it added but it just didn’t. If you do manage to actually get everything you want in your cart, you can’t checkout! Every single time I get to checkout the app will turn my entire screen white with no buttons, the only way to fix this is to reset the entire app. I had to reset the app over 10 times and race against the clock on the checkout screen just to place an order. I also couldn’t use any of my rewards because those have to be applied at checkout and it wouldn’t stay on the screen long enough to process them. There’s also the fact that the entire online ordering system is run through the doordash system but that’s more of a personal gripe than an actual functionality issue. The only thing I’ve actually seen fixed with updates is the fact that the app used to delete your entire cart when resetting the app, every time. And with an app so buggy that you have to reset it often, that amount of stress and trouble isn’t worth it and will make you choose somewhere else to eat dinner.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. This app sucks SO much. Literally doesn’t even let me sign in anymore. My current plan is to just give up on Checkers entirely for a year or two and come back to see if they fix this. Fast food is pointless without rewards these days.

I have less hoops to go through to sign into much more important apps. Endless verification for a freaking cheeseburger. Nevermind. Trash.
