Avoid this app and subscription service at all costs
Chevron’s subscription receipt explicitly says cancellations must be done through the app. The problem is the app locked me out of my account, and support continued billing me anyway.
I contacted support multiple times explaining:
* I could not access the app
* I could not cancel the subscription
* I was revoking authorization for future charges
Chevron still processed another renewal charge after being notified.
Support’s explanation was that installing the app on multiple phones may have caused the lockout. Even if true, that does not justify continuing to bill customers while preventing access to the required cancellation method.
A subscription service should never put customers in a position where:
1. cancellation requires the app,
2. the app becomes inaccessible,
3. and billing continues anyway.
Be very careful signing up for recurring billing through this platform.

Terrible app
This is literally the worst Ui and app I have ever used. And why is this separate from the chevron gas app. Absolutely 0 IQ brains at chevron it seems. Please hire me to fix this insanity.
Not worth it, waste of money
The app is not stable, and local carwash equipment always break down and for days at a time. Also after I deleted the app for a while and try to re-register the app will not let you register again and gives all kinds of error and basically lock you out from signing up ever again. Fix the app or take your money somewhere else.

Only in California?
I can’t change my location, it has my location but only shows me California stores. I live in Florida and it didn’t mention anything about me not being able to use this app.
Not usable
After buying the monthly pass, I got an error saying I was trying to log in from a device not associated with the account. Contacted the customer service but never got response.
Not working. Not reliable
App not working. Only one crash nearby. These stations sometimes are closed. Subscription is a scam. No support

I wouldn’t bother getting a subscription with them. They’re a scam. Sometimes it doesn’t work at the car washes and when it does work and you wash it every day, they seem to ban you from the account or put unauthorized so you wouldn’t wash your car
Only Works in California
Tried this app a couple times trying to figure out why I could not select the Chevron I was visiting. This app is only for California Chevrons.
App Not Working as Expected
I made multiple attempts to resolve this problem that turns out to be an app issue. I’ve been experiencing an ongoing issue with my “The Works” $28/month subscription via the Chevron Car Wash App since December 2024. The tri-color foam feature, which is part of the package, does not activate when using the app. However, it works perfectly when I pay for a single wash without the app. This clearly appears to be an app-related issue.
I’ve been paying the full subscription amount while not receiving the full service. All along, I thought the carwash system was defective, but this is an app issue that they fail to address. It’s unacceptable to pay for a premium wash and not receive all included features.

Very Bad!
I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with the Chevron Car Wash app. The lack of clear instructions on how to use the car wash is frustrating. At times, the app functions as expected, but often it does not. When issues arise, there is no direct way to contact support. Instead, users are left to dig through the Terms of Service or contact a local Chevron gas station for help.
Moreover, before the update, there was a weather forecast for the week for my current location, which is now gone. I’ve tried troubleshooting by deleting and reinstalling the app, and signing out and back in, without success.
To improve the user experience, I strongly suggest that the developers of this app collaborate with those behind the Chevron Rewards app, which works reliably and provides a much better user experience. Clear, accessible instructions and a straightforward way to contact support are essential features that need to be implemented in the Chevron Car Wash app.
Moreover, before the update, there was a weather forecast for the week for my current location, which is now gone. I’ve tried troubleshooting by deleting and reinstalling the app, and signing out and back in, without success.

I tired to sign up and ask for email verification but I’m not getting any code
Junk - subscribed, but QR code to start was doesn’t work
The only good thing the app did for me was give me the phone number for the location so they could help.
I subscribed at my local Chevron. Enrollment went fine but the app activating the car wash did not. You scan a QR code at the kiosk where you would type in a code if purchased inside. The QR code is either bad or something else if off as when I scan it just pops up some text which doesn’t do anything as it’s not a valid link. Tried a couple times with a bunch of cars behind me. Fun. There’s no way to scan the QR code within the app, so if the link doesn’t work you are not getting that car wash. Finally called the store and they gave me a code so kudos to the local station. No kudos for the app.

Best neighborhood car wash
I had app car wash for 7 months it close to my home and the store mgr also reports problems and get it fixed in chino hills Ca I love keeping my car cleaned for the monthly fee.
Doesn’t work lousy support
Constantly getting “offline “ error and it considers you used a days wash. Customer service doesn’t respond even after numerous times reaching out to them. Waste of time and money
Crappy app and services
I purchased this app awhile back and the QR code doesn’t work for my location! Then you asked the ppl work there for help and they refuse to come in out to help. Now, I’m trying to download the app again to purchase a car wash cause my credit card wasnt workin, it says “your us location is now allowed to download” or whatever. I’m in California! How does the is stupid app doesn’t work?! By far always frustrating!!!!
