Stopped

We need a prompt that tells us our charging has stopped after pressing. Stop charging

Status

Used to confirm when you stopped a charger but after the recent updates, it doesn’t. “stop session” button always shows and it doesn’t confirm whether it actually stopped the charger.

Latest update

The route planner option does not add charging stations along the route. Would also be nice if this worked with CarPlay

Love the app and ChargePoint, new update needs some tweaks.

I love chargepoint stations and the app. The app and ChargePoint stations are always very reliable, and having a ChargePoint card in my Apple wallet is a great feature that speeds things wayy up.

My only complaints are about the new app design that was just released. While very pretty to look at, and was clearly very well designed visually, it’s noticeably a bit less responsive on some interactions. I am also really missing the feature where if a location has multiple stalls at it, I could press “Notify me when any plug at this location is available” basically, I used to be able to click this button, and when any of the chargers became available at the location I was at I would get a notification. Now that functionality is gone, and I have to go through and press notify me on all of the plugs. Small inconvenience but it really did make a difference. There is also no longer an option to disable notifications for a spot either.

If you guys could fix just those two things it would be perfect!! Still love ChargePoint :)

Features removed

2026 Update: can’t believe the app could actually get worse!!! My Spots feature is gone which makes the app useless when locating which charger at work is available while driving. Also gone is the ability to see charger status and availability on the map screen. This is so outrageously stupid. The UI designers should be embarrassed.
2024 Update: They still have not brought back the “flex” feature to the Home Flex charger. In order to change amp settings you have to remove the charger from your account and then add it back. It is so infuriating when it was touted as a feature initially and then they removed it. Would have bought a much cheaper charger. I do not recommend this company.

Purchased a home flex to be able to change amperage when desired. Usually want to charge at 32A but wanted the ability to increase the charger to 48A if I needed the car sooner. Got the Home Flex set up and discovered the newest update removed the flexibility to change the amperage on the fly on the “Flex”. It’s especially annoying for people with solar panels who might want to adjust the amperage to not exceed their production
