Unreliable

Constantly reports wrong charging status. Rarely knows whether car is charging or not. Buggy!!

Utterly broken

My company uses this service for its charging infrastructure at our corporate office. Charging network outages plague our Bally to connect, and this app is so utterly broken that I’ve been kicked off of our hours long waitlist while trying to accept my turn to charge no less than half a dozen times.

Worst EV charge company by far

WILL NOT DELETE MY ACCOUNT // YEARS OF SPAM EMAIL

App does not specify charger speed so you can travel 25 minutes to find out the charge station will take 11 hours to reach 80%.

App does not filter CLOSED TO PUBLIC chargers, such as private residence(s), private hotel stations, new-vehicle auto dealerships, police station EV chargers, etc. you would arrive in person to see that you CANNOT charge due to obvious reasons. All stations in the app I’ve seen show up as available to public 24/7.

You would have to be brain dead not to include charge speed in an EV charging app

They lie to customers

Before I bought my 2nd EV, I checked with Charge point to make sure I could add a second station to my account. They said they were working on it and would soon release an update to allow more than 1 home charger. That was over a year ago and they have done nothing. I had to create 2 different accounts to use my chargers…come on guys it’s 2026 and some households have more than 1 EV or plug in hybrid.

For the Sept 2026 downdate

Went in reverse on the update. Car app says I am charging. ChargePoint app says seasion is done, yet has option to stop session. Try again ChargePoint.

Gate closed for residents only

Ruskin, FL has 8 EV chargers, but at the Apt closed gate, outsiders are not allowed to charge, which is not right.

Does not work with Tesla

I tried 2 different charging ports and they did not work with my car, tesla. I tried another company’s charging port and had no problem.

Data grab - can’t use credit card

Must use app, can’t use credit card. Data grab. Use other charge stations !

Latest update

On the route planner, after selecting origin and destination and the selecting the plan button, I’m taken to a map showing the overall route. I then hit the start button. But I have no way of adding charging stations along the route.

The “Report a Problem” link is broken in the app.

How do you get a hold of someone here? There’s no customer email, the 800 number redirects you all over the place and the stations stay broken. Oh , but you’ll gladly keep charging a convenience fee for every session? Do better.

Hard to use

Looking at the new map hurts. I cannot figure out these filters for the life of me. I will not be using ChargePoint until they fix this.

Slow, buggy app overhaul

They seem to have revamped the app and they made it frustratingly slow and buggy as a result. More than once now the app freezes on launch. More than once it makes me log in rather than using Face ID or maintaining a long term session. It also doesn’t appear to use Apple native UI standards, making password entry difficult. It must be one of those garbage cross-platform frameworks that amount to a least common denominator terrible user experience on any given platform. Way to go ChargePoint. You’ve ruined your iOS app in the name of saving a buck.

So buggy after updates

App Store worse after the updates always log you out. Doesn’t load properly hangs all the time.

App makes a lot of errors

The app was fine a few months back, but they recently made an update over the summer and the app is now making a lot of mistakes. Frequently logging me out when I’m on the waitlist. Giving me an error alert when I try to reserve a spot. Showing me I reserved a spot but when I go it’s another persons spot.

Sign in monthly

Invariably I have to re sign in every month when I’m in the middle of using the app. Drives me nuts

Frustrating beyond words

The charge stations are never operational. I had to call in at work when a bank of their charging kiosks all were out of order. Customer service help try and can do much to give you hope but ultimately they fail and bless their hearts they are destined to deal with a lot of frustrated drivers. Currently I’m at my 2nd kiosk Broadway bldg station1. Doesn’t recognize my phone or credit cards. Any of them😞

Taking money

$50 holding fee on your card that doesn’t even go back immediately most times is ludicrous considering many other stations either don’t have one or are much less. The app is horribly glitchy and if you try to pay through the app it will charge you that $50 holding fee as many times as it can. Sometimes taking all the money available if it fits. Support is no help. They can’t release the hold, credit your account for the inconvenience, they barely want to remote start the charge. Instead they redirect you back to their glitchy app and have you pay again even if they just robbed you for dang near $200+

Nunca más

Jaja increíble, que cobre 25 dólares después de estar cargada y que se pase 1 hora conectada, ósea me cobraron 20 dólares una hora un sábado de 6 am a 7 am jajaja, que robo más grande

App is dying

Bro even I cant find charge point chargers on app. There is a bug. When I select my car, chargers on map disappear. What do you do guys? Dont you check your app? Are you real?

Crashes

Constant crashes, signs me out all the time, errors, and so much more why update an app to introduce so many problems?
