Will not connect
I am standing right under it with the power on and it will not connect. I have an iPhone. It will not connect. A rip off, scam, fraud and I should turn them in to the DOJ and BBB.

I can never get it to connect to my phone. This whole concept is ridiculous. 3 other family members can connect but I cannot. So that’s great. I can’t even turn up the light brightness without this app.

If the description had been accurate I would have never picked this fan with a battery in the switch. Poor design! I connected it once to my phone and could play music and change settings. Now it will not even recognize it like other reviewers have shared. I was mistaken in thinking Nutone was a reliable brand. Fan is noisy too!

Mine quit working as well after the update. Very disappointing
It’s been 3 years
This Bluetooth on the device disconnects constantly. In the last year it has not been able to picked up/found. So I can’t use the speaker.

Typical large company that can’t embrace technology. This app has no benefit. It won’t connect to any smart home system. You have to be relatively close to use it to turn on the light which you could easily do using the wall switch. It can only be used to connect your phone to have music. It could be so much more than it is.

So I guess this friend is the app useless and the reason I bought it useless as well because I bought it so I could choose different fading lights, listen to my music through the speaker, and have a fan in the bathroom, all in one. The fan barely works, but whatever what I care about is being able to change the lights into fading and change the brightness.

App doesn’t pair with new update
After updating my phone to the new software it won’t pair to play music or adjust lighting I’m very disappointed in the quality of this app the developers need to update to pair with the new software
Worked briefly
The Bluetooth worked for hot minute. Maybe a month. It doesn’t find the device automatically. You have to go to your Bluetooth to find it that way. It then stopped connecting. Tried removing the device to re-add it and now it won’t find it at all.
The fan still works but can’t connect to it anymore. Definitely looked too good to be true.

WARNING! This app will not work anymore with new IOS system update!
I was always not very impressed with this app due to the glitching and lag time while changing colors or just even pairing with my phone for music. After updating my iPhone 16 to the new IOS 26, the application doesn’t recognize my device anymore. I am able to pair my phone through the Bluetooth for my music, and that’s it. Disappointed that the creators haven’t updated this in quite some time, especially with the common issues in all reviews that are posted.

No reason to buy it for the features because they never work.
Turning off the automatic light sensor does nothing

App is junk
Super laggy and glitchy connection. The app should have the ability to re-order the color list and delete colors from the list, but it doesn’t. There’s no way to quickly swipe through them to change it and it pauses quite a while between each swipe. Theres also a glitch when you put too long of a title for the color, it gets cut off and you can no longer access the editing menu to change the name or the color itself. Half the time it doesn’t connect. Tried to submit feedback and it bounced saying their email address doesn’t exist anymore.

Bathroom fan with speaker
Loved this at first. Then it stopped responding. A blue light now circles instead of green. I have to keep the bathroom door closed so I don’t see it all night. I cannot get it to connect. Nothing can find it. I’ve uninstalled and I’m tried of fight this fan light.
Plain confusion
Why is this so hard? The colors take forever to load and I still have no idea how to play music on it.

I do not understand why you have such a low rating on this app and all you do is ask for people to call you. There should be an option in the app to report errors. Calling in to fix an app is not going to fix it. App is broken. Everytime you go back into it, whether it’s android or iOS it doesn’t update with the current condition of the fan or light. Sometimes will show it still on when it’s not or vice versa. Have to hard close the app. If it’s a lighting issue, you have to change it to a different mode and then change the lights to be a turn it off.
