Doesn’t protect your money and will happily help people scam you
After the bank fees and the ability to barely use my account I’ve decided to go elsewhere with my saving and investments as Cibc can’t seem to keep there hands off other peoples money. Going to RCB hopefully others do the same as well
App is fine but promos annoying
The app is fine and does what it needs to do. But every time you login you are hit with a promo for financing or something and constantly have to say No, Thanks, and then it asks if you are sure and you have to say no again. So annoying! I bank with TD also and their app NEVER does that. I can just do my banking and leave with TD. Enough with the promos.

Too heavy and useless
This app is so loaded with adds and useless stuff that it can’t load and I can’t even check balance or accept etransfer without issues. It’s a tormenting experience to accept etransfer on this app. I guess they picked their developers through dei

Please stop this nonsense of an ad to sell me Disney plus when I log into my bank. This is an insane thing you are doing. There should be no ads in an app to view my bank. I would like to file a complaint as well.
push notifications
Please add push notifications for incoming deposits, not just withdrawals. It would be really helpful to get notified when money is deposited into my account, such as my paycheck or transfers. Many banking apps already offer this feature, and it would make the CIBC app much more convenient. Thank you!
