Pathetic App
Most times it doesn’t work. There is one issue or the other. Now it says “reCAPTCHA check failed. Please try later.”, but there is no provision for captcha.

Stopped working
Absolute rubbish. I used to use this all the time, then it stopped working! Keeps saying account not recognised.
Bad Gateway while logging in- been like this for months!
Tried to delete and reinstall it, still doesn’t work. Been coming up with a 502 Bad Gateway screen for months now, i cant use it.

More expensive than just buying directly from the cinema
Not sure what’s happened to this app over the years but it has become terrible and pointless. Bought 2 Odeon tickets through the app which cost me £20.60 but then when putting the subsequent voucher code into the Odeon website to actually get the tickets, I had to pay another £12. £32 altogether when if i just bought them from Odeon directly it would have been £30. What the hell is the point of this app? Especially the faff that you have to go through just to get the tickets and then on top of that you’re worse off??? Either sort it out or close the app down!

Cheaper in odeon itself
Downloaded this app for discount prices but were in fact more expensive than buying from the cinema itself. Pointless
stupid app
thought i’d book cinema tickets through this app since my manager had told me you get good discounts on it, so i go and get 2 adult cineworld tickets for £15.90 thinking that’ll be how much my tickets will be when i put the code in on cineworld but when i go to the cineworld website and then put my code in at the checkout it only took off £2 per ticket and it still wanted me to pay the full £30 ??!! so what the hell did i just spent £16 on??? a barcode??? so stupid that i can’t even get a refund either

I can’t even login to my account. Typed in my password many times and I know my password is correct, so I’ve even gone on to forgot password and it is still asking me for my password to login. Clear errors with this app smh
Card ID proceedure does not work
As others have said it is impossible to use this app for the intended purpose currently. Had same issue with banking app that others described (using an iphone if that makes a difference)
This app is not fit for purpose
It would be handy if this app actually worked for its intended use. As someone else already pointed out in their review, purchasing tickets via this app is impossible. When paying, transaction is required to be approved via banking app and when doing so, cannot return to finish the transaction as it aromatically boots you back to main screen, cancelling the purchase. So maybe perks at work should focus on fixing this app first before so blantantly pushing it via their website when trying to get ticket vouchers. Shame on you.

If you have to validate a credit card code, the app closes when you check your texts

There seems to be an issue where minimising the app or switching to another one resets the app to the landing screen and cancels any in-progress transactions. As my bank requires me to switch to its app to approve the payment, this makes completing the order impossible. I hope this can be fixed as otherwise it’s incredibly useful as a frequent cinemagoer.

Functionality fail
This app should be really handy but it has stopped working properly. Lots of errors and as others have mentioned when you need to leave to authenticate payment it restarts the whole process so is a vicious circle. Also why no Apple Pay? Sloppy.

On attempting to purchase tickets via the app, it requires me to open my bank app to approve my transaction. However, when I open my bank app, approve and re-visit the Cinema app, the transaction disappears and cancelled. This has proven quite challenging for me to purchase cinema tickets and appears to be a flaw in the functionality of the app.

Couldn’t buy tickets
Tried to buy tickets today.
Got to payment page and was asked to verify using my credit card app, something I do on other sites regularly.
When I returned to Perks at Work it had left the payment screen and returned to the cinema selection screen. It then told me verification hadn’t worked. Tried multiple times but have had to give up and buy without the discount.
Tried to report the issue using their link but it was rejected/undelivered.

Wish I could give zero star
Login screen says recaptcha failed. But there is captcha appearing. Worst experience.
