Food is always delivered late
This app needs a feature to give delivery drivers instructions such as ringing the doorbell, and how to find my house. Every order has been over an hour late.
Enough with podcasts notifications
I had to disable notifications because I keep getting alerts for a podcast I have zero interest in. It’s disappointing for a grocery shopping app to push unrelated content. Please stop sending these promotions, or at least give us granular notification settings so we can opt out of marketing while keeping order updates on.

Overall pretty good
Generally I have a very good shopping experience with the app. A couple of suggestions: add filters to the offers, at least by dietary restrictions. It’s painful scrolling through the food to go meal deal options without that. As another reviewer mentioned, adding existing basket items to an order that then gets amended would be so helpful.

App suggestion
If I put something in the basket, and then I login to edit an existing order, I think it would be an improvement for the app to ask would I like to add the things I’ve put in the basket to my order. Thank you
That’s not a review, obviously, but the mechanism to message the developer seems to take me to Help on the Waitrose website, which was a rabbit hole from which I could not emerge. Life is too short

Best supermarket shopping app
I have Sainsbury’s and Tescos apps which are fine but this Waitrose one is much much better. The in store shop and scan feature is great. It’s just got me to change my previous shopping regime
