Waitrose App
I have an email address and a password but I keep being told there is an error try again. I actually deleted the app and reset it. Again i got there is an error try again so I did and I got the app to open. Amazing! Then in store today no such luck again I got there is an error try again

Making it difficult to contact
Used to be so so easy to message when there was an issue with your order now you have to fill in an online form with nene address order number etc. trying to make you give up before you raise issues. Pathetic
Saturday 1st August
Used my phone to scan and go as I always do. Got to the till with a trolley full and got the message for a rescan. Usually when this happens they scan approx 10 or so items and away you go.
Not today… rather than explain any of this to me the assistant was just talking through her headset about having to rescan every scab and go order. She then went off helping other customers. Finally she came back to me and said she had to do a full rescan. I had over £130 in the trolley all packed and she was going to take ages rescanning everything with her hand held scanner. I therefore went to a
Checkout with an assistant unpacked everything while she scanned it and then repacked it. No apology or explanation. Surely they should be able bypass this problem if it’s happening with every customer.

Where are my vouchers?
Vouchers have been slowly but surely reduced to the point that this week I got no new vouchers. What is going on? Also when I search for something in the app and click on it, returning to the search page resets the search and I have to scroll all the way down to where I was before. Lastly, please allow us to review our purchase in the app - this is an extremely basic function of a shopping app.

Moody app
Moody app, sometimes despite the little treats doesn’t get updated despite scanning the card. Not enough discount vouchers either despite spending ££ . It used to be better before.
Easy Booking
Wanted to book some party food and found the website very easy to peruse and to book. Great that you can pick up from a local Waitrose.

Waitrose app crash
The Waitrose app used to crash occasionally when amending an order. Usually I can just reboot my phone and it would fix the properly. I have provided feedback to Waitrose before but the issue is still happening. So much so that it just crashed my iPhone 16 which is only 6 months old. So I thought I ought to put a review on here.

It’s a Game of Give and Take
Listen up, Waitrose. Your rewards scheme is one of the stingiest around. You collect all this data on customers' spending habits but offer very little in return. Right now, I have no vouchers at all. Every week or so, there are a few vouchers here and there offering 50p off a small number of items. You need to offer a fairer exchange. Right now, you take more than you give, so this needs to change. If you really want to shine, then offer more than you take!

Unable to set up account
Unable to set up account. Go to add in my address and it just shows a blank screen with ‘Complete your account’ at the top. No way of progressing without it! Please fix

I expect far better from Waitrose.
Tried cancelling my order, but it wouldn’t allow me to. Followed all the help suggestions, still couldn’t cancel. Tried to contact coroner services via email, no chance as I could not get through the system to even get the email address.
App is worse than amateurish and I expect far better from the like of Waitrose. Will be removing app and shopping elsewhere from now on; I certainly have never had a problem with Ocado, so back to them I will go.

Improve order system
Need to make it obvious how to add another item to order!
Frequent Crashes
Several times recently whilst in the middle of shopping the vouchers have not loaded. Even connecting with the WiFi doesn’t work. Unable to use the vouchers which is a shame as the app is well put together.
Apple Wallet Card - suggestion
How about putting the barcode at the top of your Apple Wallet card. That way we can just hold our phones normally when we have to put it into the reader to get the scanning gun instore. Seems like common sense…..
Search facility limited
I love Waitrose but find this app is let down by its poor search facility. Unlike on the website, you cannot copy and paste multiple products from an email onto a list. I shop for my 96 year old mum every week. She emails me the list and I create the order. It’s very frustrating that things have to be input individually. Also, the search is not intelligent eg 2 bananas will not find bananas- the 2 has to be deleted. Waitrose is let down by this app.

Great recipes easy app
Love the recipes just which we could change the order of the recipes to have newest at the top or in alphabetical order, and would love to create a weekly menu within the app
