Would be nice to have the option to have a neural app icon for those who don’t wish to celebrate pride month. Doesn’t mean I hate anyone at all, just don’t think it has to be forced on everyone who wishes to use a simple grocery app.
Can not order from deli counter ?
Would be perfect if you could order fresh meats or fish from the deli counters then 5 stars
Simple to use
I use Waitrose app to place all my orders for party food. as friends and relations live in different counties to myself I Often need to collect items at stores . it is really easy to put in the postcode of my destination and the app will find the nearest Waitrose.

Product standards
Please ensure you pack fresh and good products such as fruits, tomatoes and vegetables. And packing exactly what someone order last time I ordered large eggs but because they didn’t have just packed what ever was there without telling me. Otherwise doing good.
Why is there a rainbow
Why is there a rainbow in the Waitrose logo now. What has that got to do with groceries.

Perhaps some people don’t want to advertise rainbow colours, or the ideological lens it come from. Even if we believe in equality, we don’t want rainbow flags thank you. It’s just rude to force it on someone.
Excellent Store, Confusing App Experience
Great products and a nice shopping experience in-store, which is why I downloaded the app.
However, the app still shows prices in GBP even though I’m in the UAE. This is confusing and not very helpful for local customers. Prices should be displayed in local currency based on the customer’s location.
Please consider fixing this.

Won’t be updating the App until they remove the LBGT etc flag. Waitrose should concentrate on their core business.
Logo
Why has the Waitrose logo changed? Looks like it's pushing a woke agenda. I'm sure they wouldn't be so childish as to change a perfectly good adult looking logo to one that pushes a political woke agenda and looks like a nursery school advert, but it really is off putting! I've hidden it in my library so will likely forget to use Waitrose for shopping.

I’ve been a loyal Waitrose customer for years and the App itself works well. However, the recent change to a Pride-themed icon has left me frustrated, not because of what it represents, but because I have no choice.
I fully respect the LGBTQ+ community and Waitrose’s right to show support. But my phone is personal to me, and being unable to revert to the standard icon feels like my own device is being used to make a statement on my behalf.
Many Apps offer alternative icons as an option — this would be a simple, inclusive solution that respects users of all views. Please consider adding icon choice in a future update.

App calls me a thief
I use this app to scan my products, pack, and pay and pay. But 2 out of 3 on average using it I get flagged up and my shop has to be rescanned by staff. This app is indirectly calling me a shoplifter, it’s embarrassing. I’ve stopped using it and literally hate it. What exists to be smooth and quick ends up being long and shamming

Please can money off vouchers be available in the app like before, not sent via email and need to screenshot to use. Surely this is the point of the app, to make shopping easier. This is a step backwards!

Worst delivery service
Many times, I have spent hours to wait but the bus drivers did not come. And customers service always said he will come not, but never. And it is very inconvenient to report the problems and get the money back. Worst delivery service eve!
Don’t deliver
Ordered some wine - on offer by the way - for delivery the next day, lo and behold they don’t have any, yet are still advertising for sale.
Will it be available once the offer is over I wonder?
