Microphone permission error
I’m having the same issue with the app that all iPhone users seem to be having: it asks for permission for the microphone, then it takes you to the settings for camera permissions. even if I go into the iPhone settings myself and then select the app settings, there’s no option to allow microphone permissions

Good at the basics, not much more
This app is good enough that I prefer it to a browser-based video call, but I wish it would leverage more of the Apple SDKs to support features like Center Stage video and Liquid Glass buttons.
Also, on iPad every time I take a photo of myself the orientation never switches to landscape.

See title. You can’t get past initial set up because you need to allow the app permission to use your mic. Problem is there is no option to do so.
microphone fix bug
i am not able to use the app because of a bug saying i need to allow access to my microphone when it doesn’t have a feature in the settings granting permission. i just use the website browser but it’s annoying

I recently restored the app after it had been offloaded to free up storage space, but I kept getting the same error with microphone permissions as others have mentioned. There was no option in the Settings app to allow microphone access either. What finally worked for me was to delete the app completely and redownload it from the App Store. When I opened the app, it asked for both camera and microphone access, and both are now available in Settings.

Microphone still will not work on this app
I just downloaded this so I wouldn’t have to use a browser for my appointments and it won’t start because it thinks I haven’t enabled microphone permissions for the app. However, when I go to the app settings, there is no option to give it microphone permissions (there is for the camera, just not for the mic). I’ve seen other reviews complaining about this same problem going back over six months… shouldn’t this be a very simple fix?

Ever since the switch to the new name the app hasn’t worked
Ever since they switched from psychology today with the little couch icon to this, it always asks for permission for my microphone and then doesn’t have a setting for allowing the microphone making this app completely useless
“Client video” ???
Since when did Psychotherapy Sessions (does what it says on the tin) become Client Video (honestly I thought it was spyware - how bland and impersonal can you get?) And the icons!!! I LOVED the therapist couch logo. (HATE the bland, impersonal, confusing, and worst of all, looks like a one-size-fits-all health-app chat or logo). PLEASE put it back to how it was. IT WASNT BROKEN. But it is now.

Cannot enable mic
Asks to enable mic access but does not give me a viable way to do so. Entire app is bricked until I do so.

Microphone access stopped working on iPhone. The directions in the app don’t work and the Apple directions don’t either (neither app settings nor privacy settings). Says to contact app developer. Need it to request access instead of sending me to settings where only the camera is available and no microphone option.

No landscape mode
Why is there no landscape mode for patients?!!! The provider side has it. This makes no sense. You’ve been getting this feedback for a year. Change it!
Camera doesn’t work.
My therapist can’t see me when I use the app and others have been complaining for months with no update. So do yourself a favor and keep using the web version the app is trash.
Camera rarely works
I’ve tried this app on both my iPad and my Android phone and I think the camera worked once, maybe. I double checked that permissions were set correctly and everything, but my therapist only saw a gray screen (which is also what I saw on my self view). Opening the appointment link on Chrome works fine though, so definitely something wrong with the app

Works great - when it works - Camera issues
My camera worked for a year, and now doesn’t. I’ve tried reinstalling app, changing from phone to iPad (after restarting both), changing settings, and still no luck. It would be nice for my therapist to see me! I wish there was a practice mode like zoom to see if any changes I adjust are working before my next appointment.

So no one can see me. It worked before but has not worked in a couple of months.
IPad Pro Camera not working
App if great other than the IPad Pro camera not working with it—which is works on zoom, FaceTime, teams, and other video apps for work.
Is there a trouble shooting guide? As a Product Suggestions, on the waiting screen, it would be nice to have FAQs for troubleshooting common issues.

No landscape mode
It’s just a video calling app, why doesn’t it do landscape mode like all the other ones?
Needs landscape mode.
