Great, if you can get app to open.

I regularly have to delete and reload this app. Aside from whatever the problem is that makes it freeze at the sign-in step, once you’re in it’s a great tool.

Awful app

Never loads properly

Doesn’t update

This app is very frustrating and borderline useless. As others have said there are many features you cannot access on the app but the worst thing about this app is it doesn’t update my schedule changes unless I close the app and re-login. Which is just ridiculous.

Love clinic sense on my laptop but the mobile app has a lot of glitches.

The mobile app freaked a lot so I can’t even open it and also would like it to send me notifications whenever I get an appointment request. It does through email but not my phone

App getting harder to use

Using the website on a computer is OK, but I left Massagebook because their app stopped working and when I looked it hadn’t been updated in 5 years. Now when I look at ClinicSense, they haven’t bothered to update their app in 3, and it’s starting to show.

Please

Please update the app to make it easier to use for people. It should be as easy as using the website

Great on Mac okay in ap

Please allow “ schedule personal time” to be recurring indefinitely. Now it only allows up to a year. I have to schedule time off for my kids and unfortunately have to set a reminder for a year from now to make sure I block off my time. Would also love to be able to use soap notes on iPad. Otherwise the program is great so far

Freezes and doesn’t allow you to access all of the features

No soap notes accessibility, cannot fill out intakes in mobile app if your client doesn’t do it before they arrive you have to have a computer for them to use, and it freezes constantly.

Not perfect

Great app overall. But when I get notifications for a new appointments, it’s usually in military time on my Lock Screen. And there is no way to change this. It makes it very inconvenient because I have to open the app to see what time my appointments are instead of default if it showed the time in a 12 hour clock format.

Great app. NOT IPAD COMPATIBLE

I love the app and how it flows and it works great for my business when I started my trial. However, this app is not compatible with my iPad and only displays a small screen of the iPhone version on my iPad. For this app to work for me I need to be able to have a working dashboard on my tablet and this app just doesn’t have it. Disappointing.

Had high hopes but-

I couldn’t even finish getting my services listed, the app keeps getting hung up on my 2022 iPad. So disappointed. It’s easy to read and I was almost convinced to subscribe.

Acuity is 100x better

First, their product lacks basic functionality. And then they make their cancellation process intentionally confusing. I thought I cancelled 6 months ago but I was wrong… I’ve paid these idiots $700 for nothing. Go with Acuity, trust me.

Inconvenience while on the go

As a mobile therapist, this app is very unreliable and makes navigating inconvenient. You’re unable to see clients reason for visit or subjective info before the treatment and compared to Jane app this has half the features. The only convenient feature is sending receipts for clients. You can’t even custom create forms like you can on Jane. I use multiple modalities and need multiple intake forms and it’s very frustrating that I can’t do that so I have to physically print anything that’s not massage related. Jane app you can create many forms and to be honest pretty much custom create the experience you want for your client. Aside from that you just simply have to click too many things to reach where you want to be. The desktop version is a bit better I will add but for a busy therapist like myself just very inconvenient.

It’s OKAY

This app decides when it wants to run smoothly, regardless of internet or wifi connection. I can’t sign in half the time because it’s endlessly, “loading client names and files” which is hugely inconvenient and takes away the purpose of having a hand held app… the convenience. Would prefer something smoother and more user friendly.

Response from developer

Hi there, thank you for your feedback. We are in the process of making some updates to the app and hope to have an improved user experience very soon.

Website is good. App is not

The app leaves a lot to be desired. It’s fine if I want to check my appointments really quick but I’m baffled by the decision to make literally everything else as difficult as possible or completely non-functional. I’m on the go a lot. If I want to adjust anything I have to go to the website which is fine on a computer but clunky on my phone.

I like the service and the price. I’m happy with my choice to use clinic sense, but there needs to be some significant improvement, otherwise I think I might switch when I start making more money (I’m just starting my business).

Hi there, thank you for your feedback. We have some updates coming to the app later this year that should improve ease of use and functionality. We'll also bring SOAP notes to the app with this update as well.

Use at your own risk

***BEWARE*** THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND DID NOT PROVIDE THE ADVERTISED SERVICE, NOW I AM OUT OF POCKET AND THEY WILL NOT REFUND ME EVEN THOUGH I REQUESTED THIS WITHIN THE 30 DAY REFUND POLICY I tested clinic sense after reading the reviews, but do not be fooled as their business model is designed so that if anything goes wrong you will lose your money! I can only give my experience with this company as I have used many companies before and I wanted a system that would save my team admin time. They advertised this and it actually created 60% more work. After testing the system for 14 days it did not have basic features like other software so I requested a refund. They ignored my request and would not refund me as advertised within their own 30 day refund policy. They use marketing to convince me to stay but I had already requested the refund. Now they are saying that because I did not confirm that I wanted a refund they cannot refund me and I must charged for the entire year. ***BEWARE that they do not operate in a legal or ethical manner*** From my point of view I would AVOID at all costs as they are the typical salesman that once they take your money you will get zero support and be left out of pocket. Rest assured, I will be taking Clinicsense to court about this as I don’t want this to happen to anyone else. If you are one of the 10000 healthcare students that I teach every year I will surely share my experiences in more depth as the lesson here is that there are many people that are after your money and are not willing to provide the service or look after the most valuable possession - the customer. I call this theft and a lack of integrity and Clinicsense should certainly be a company to AVOID. If you are reading this, I want to thank you as I’m sure you are an aspiring health professional only wanting to help more people. Unfortunately this company is not interested in helping their own customer let alone people. The customer service is none existent and the management is disgusting. I appreciate that the Clinicsense are trying to run a business, however there is a famous saying that a persons true colours are revealed when things go wrong. This is that moment! They are irresponsible, neglect their own customers and their behaviour is unacceptable. If you do choose to use them this is at your own RISK that you could lose as much money as I did, but worse still lose a 1 year of your life with useless software and end up with nothing to show for it because they don’t care about their customers. If you are reading this and have also experienced financial loss and disrespect, I encourage you to not be afraid to post a review showing the truth about Clinicsense.

No SOAP accessibility in app, etc.

I really want to like ClinicSense more but I can’t access SOAP notes unless I use my desktop, and other scheduling features (like a simple reschedule button for returning clients who can’t repeat appointments on the same days/at same times every month) are just not available. For some weird reason, someone could technically book an appointment on a date in the past, which shouldn’t be possible, and I don’t like that clients see the message, “___is enjoying a day off…” on dates I’m unavailable. I really love the idea of using one platform for booking, intake and SOAP forms, point-of-sale, gift certificates, and email campaigns, and I echo the previous sentiment that this app has the potential to be the leader if they would deliver on those options, but I’m not impressed with any one of these feature enough to subscribe.

Hi there, thank you for your feedback. We are in the process of making updates to the app so we can improve user experience and provide the features that are most requested. An update will be released this year which should meet your expectations.

Needs some updates

Very good app and software that could be the leader in the industry but can use some updates. Needs SOAP notes upload available on mobile and some more mobile features.
Also needs more scheduling settings. Like max # of clients/hours that can book per day. Ex. I want to book only 3-4 hours per day.

Was going to give 4 stars—but I know it will keep getting better

I am a burned out ICU/ER nurse that put herself out to pasture and started a massage therapy business. I was charting by exception on paper for two years because I was so sick of charting.

Well... after the 500th client... that’s way too much paper even if you are only CYA charting.
ClinicSense saved my sanity and I’m slowly getting back to my love for charting my clinical thoughts and evidenced-based, goal-oriented standard of care.
Additionally, every time I have a question, the team at ClinicSense has an answer. They respond so quickly. It is refreshing (and a little astounding).
Sure... there are a few glitches, but nothing that has impeded my operations. I give them 5 stars because I like to manage up. I can tell this team will continue to improve their product based on the needs of their clients.
Lastly, if you are thinking about stepping up your massage practice, I can not think of a better time than during a pandemic to get serious about charting assessments.
