Fanbasis/Commas is just so terrible compared to whop, stripe and others. My dispute rate in fanbasis is insane, beyond normal. Im subscription based business and commas doesn’t have an option to put the bank descriptor as my company name, which makes users think it’s fraud and dispute. How are you trying to compete with others when you don’t have something as simple as letting put the bank descriptor?

SCAM PLATFORM
This platform was going well until they decided to not inform anyone of their new policy regarding RESERVE BALANCES. They are holding your funds without notification or updates and using your funds to finance their new plan for other people to use. They will not release funds and they are illegally using the consumers funds. Lawsuit on the way!

I am writing to formally express my concern regarding an unresolved issue with my Fanbasis merchant account that has now significantly affected my business operations and client relationships.
Since joining Fanbasis, I have processed over $60,000 in total transactions through my merchant account, all without a single dispute, chargeback, or violation of terms. I’ve consistently upheld professionalism, transparency, and integrity in every transaction. Despite this proven record, my most recent payout of $7,500 has been placed on hold without any clear explanation, update, or communication from the Fanbasis team.
This situation has created a severe hardship for my business. These funds represent payments from real clients whose projects depend on materials, labor, and timely delivery. The hold has prevented me from fulfilling active orders, paying team members, and maintaining my operational commitments. I’ve also been forced to communicate repeatedly with clients to explain the delay — which risks damaging my reputation and could lead to legal disputes if the matter is not resolved promptly.
I have reached out multiple times to Fanbasis support and have yet to receive any official update or acknowledgment of when this issue will be resolved. I understand that certain holds may occur for review or compliance purposes, but the complete lack of communication and transparency is unacceptable for a business of my size that relies on consistent cash flow and professional reliability.
