Rip off

Advertised one price then charged a higher amount, gave no service. Total waste, also no customer service at all

If you enjoy spending a lot of time figuring things out!

Not a fan. Signed up for the monthly subscription & quit it within the month. I don’t have time to figure it all out. I just want something super simple that’s a bit more intuitive.
For instance, told me to enter contact information but didn’t start out with the name but the phone & email so I enter the info before realizing now I have a list of people without their names. Why would it begin with phone & email when the first thing you need to know is the names?
Another dislike, I ask for a simple follow-up email & there are plenty of templates to choose from but their pics are already inserted into the templates! Why? Why not make it a placeholder for you to insert your own pic?
Found that choosing AI to create something for you isn’t as easy as it seems since after it creates it, trying to figure out how to have it email multiple people isn’t simple like a group email. I could get to the testing part but have to really concentrate on how to do a mass email.
Another issue over it auto-prompting you to enter contact details it doesn’t suggest filtering or separating them in different folders, instead, you, now have one big phone book. It would seem logical as it walks you through to set it up that it would ask if you want all your contacts in one master list or if you want them categorized while creating a master list. So, if I want the contacts categorized by month I could create this so I know when the lead was created & how long the lead has been in the app.
So, after playing with it for several hours & getting only a fraction of what I want done it got deleted & my subscription was cancelled asap!

Response from developer

This is genuinely useful feedback, skeyhani, and we appreciate you laying it out in detail. You're right that starting contact entry with phone and email before name is odd, however we set it up that way because while people might have the same exact name, they won't have the same exact email address. We also hear you that template photos should be placeholders you can swap out, not stand-ins you have to hunt for. We're passing this along to our product team. If you still need additional assistance, please send an email to social_support[at]constantcontact[dot]com along with your account name, email address, and a reference to this review so that our team can further assist.

Useful tool

Needs way more for mobile.

Horrible Pricing issues

One month number of contacts increased and we removed contacts to the lower level. they keep on charging at the higher tier

excellent

thumbs up

Easy to use

Constant contact is very easy to use.

Constant Contacts is a SCAM

Constant Contact uses every users address book contacts unbeknownst to most of them then resale services to them using each others contacts and if you want to use their app you HAVE to agree to their terms so you don’t have much choice !!!

Hardly ever works

If you are going to make the mobile version of your website useless, at least make sure your app works. You can never send emails through it.

Essentially a lifesaver for you in every aspect

CC Has saved me time, kept my servers safe and my domain safe for all my contact lists. Really spectacular service from the company. Thank you.

Working w Constant Contact is a joy

i’m not one to go around writing reviews for apps, but I have just got to say Constant Contact does a great job for nysrpa.org

Thank you!

Helpful in Many Ways

I have been using Constant Contact almost a year and a half as my communication tool for my business. I wanted to safeguard my client information and make sure it was excellent. That expectation has been met with new services being offered over time.
I would like additional services and more support. I would like to see growth continue.

Update the mobile version

Love CC on the desktop but it absolutely stinks on the mobile website and the app; not calibrated to the screen difference

App doesn’t work

Cannot see any results to any campaigns making it useless.

Great software but billing stinks

I was a customer for 8-10 years and the product is solid. Very easy to use with good deliver rates but when I stopped using it for a year and decided to cancel is when they lost my business forever. I would have went back to them if I decided to do email newsletters again but not with how the cancellation process goes.

1) in today’s day and age there is no reason why you can’t cancel online but you can’t with constant contact. You have to call the billing department and they ask you a dozen questions on why you’re leaving. I hadn’t used this in a year so why would I continue to pay?!? It felt like they were just about the money and they don’t care about the customer.

2) even after I finally got them to cancel my account they charged me again so I had to call back again. Parts of me thinks this is how they do business.

Needless to say, I’ll use someone else the next time I decide to do email marketing.

New Update is aweful

App is useless. Biggest concern is the new update to the actual web page. It’s made everything slow, half the time right clicking doesn’t work anymore. And everything is just more difficult to use. Creating a campaign used to be streamlined and easy now its massive pain. Finding contacts to change their tags is now also awful. Thinking about finding a new company.

Easy to use

This app/website is so good for my business, if I had any trouble setting anything up I would make an appointment with the constant contacts team, they are very helpful, reliable and friendly. Thank you so much I appreciate your help, patience and support!

Why

I’m not interested in this app, but I keep getting constant phone calls from them and you know what constant contact who cares I’ll do my own thing. Stop calling me.

Just started

Very Easy

Full of Bugs - Worthless App

The app is completely useless. You don’t have the ability to modify campaigns in any way. You always have to use a PC to actually utilize the features. This company always wants you to spend more money on something. It’s all about finding something you have to pay for. Once you have too many images you have put into campaigns, you once again have to upgrade. There is no way to delete the images - it is simply due to “storage” you must upgrade and spend more. There are so many other companies to consider. I suggest taking your search elsewhere.
