Forces you to go to store
Cant order from the food court. Its not lack of technology. Just forcing you to come to the store w the hopes you spend more.

Outdated underperforming application. Searching “frozen vegetables” doesn’t even pull up vegetables.
No place for delivery instructions
When I place my order online my delivery instructions do NOT show up for my delivery person on their phone! That is unacceptable. My apartment is difficult to find without Costco making it harder by not giving delivery people my delivery instructions on their phones! There is no place in the phone app for me to put editable permanent delivery instructions ! Why?? GPS is also the wrong way to find my apartment building entrance. Google is the right way to find my apartment building entrance door. Change to Google so delivery people can find my apartment building entrance! That is the only way for them to access the key to my building! This app is terrible as it is!

Very easy to use and user-friendly

Want to book tire service? The app takes you to an external webpage, WITHIN THE APP, and that page requires your Costco membership ID, while still being a Costco member.
Wa to order online? This app opens up Instacart’s webpage.
Want to actually be able to search what you’re looking for? The app does not work, but the Costco webpage does and the webpage opens the horrible app.
Want to add your card to your virtual wallet? There’s no add to wallet option.
Someone is benefitting from keeping an incompetent in the UX team. And the benefits are probably occurring in a bedroom somewhere because this app makes no sense.

Speedy movement from screen to screen accommodates
This app is perfectly serviceable
This app isn’t flashy or exciting but it lets you buy stuff from Costco.

ordering same day
whenever I order same day it never gives any details as to when it’s actually delivered. It gives you a time frame and that’s it. Plus the app glitches so much that it makes it basically impossible to even check if they were delivered.

Unpredictable but used
The glitches are truly annoying. The not being able to empty or remove my cart items unless using the website platform, inexplicably longtime or never loading accounts details page.

No Apple Pay in app means I won’t be renewing my membership. Costco is really going backwards and just gave $2500 to Best Buy since they wouldn’t let me check out with Apple Pay

Lots of bugs and not many good features
I tried opening my cart and it kept sending me to the product I last looked at. I couldn’t view my cart until I added another item into my cart and then I had to remove that item before continuing with a purchase. It also lacks in store shopping features like the Sam’s Club app. At Sam’s I can scan items while I’m shopping and pay on my way out with the app saving precious time not spent in a line. The lack of innovation in this app is disappointing from a giant like Costco. I hope it can improve.
