NO LONGER SUPPORTED

The app always had its flaws but the workouts themselves made up for that. I’m postpartum for a second time and couldn’t wait to do the program all the way through from start to finish. But the app hasn’t been updated in years (not even bug fixes or to keep up with new iOS). With my phone’s latest update, the app won’t even open - it just crashes every time. I’ve reached out to her support email as well as her directly on instagram. No response. I can only assume she’s abandoned the app and passively accepting the income from unsuspecting subscribers.

Great app!

I just love that there are exercises for all levels of fitness and all the availability that a person might have. So if you are busy and have little time: there is something for you! But if you have all the time for a good training session there is also something there for you!

Love this App!

This app has been amazing to give me programs I can do in my home gym. Especially love her maternity and postpartum programs!

Home workouts

I started using postpartum to workout at home. I like the 30 min workouts since they are perfect for nap time. I wish the app gave helped show the weights so you can prep what you need before you start. But have been amazing for home workouts!

Not working

It’s not opening with the new iPhone update.

No available program

App does not let me access any programs

Love Katie Crewe

I found Katie Crewe on fitplan app years ago. When I rejoined fitplan, she wasn’t there so I found her app. I love love love her workouts, HOWEVER I wish this app was more functional for listening to Spotify and provided a checklist of the exercise and weight used (like most fitness apps) instead of forcing you to watch each video for each set… and needing to start over the workout if you accidentally close.

Again, I love Katie Crewe’s fitness plans but this app could use some updates. Idk if I will stick around past the 3 day trial.

Good structure, but needs better tracking and flexibility

I've been using the Maternity Home Workout Program for over 2 months and overall it's structured and easy to follow. I appreciate that each workout clearly states the number of sets up front and that there are home and gym workout options.

However, there are a few areas where the app could improve:

No workout progress view: I can see the number of sets at the start, but once I begin, there’s no way to know where I am in the workout or how much I’ve already completed. After doing the same routines for weeks, it would be really helpful just to see the numbers and my progress through the session.

No performance tracking: I’d love the ability to log or adjust the number of reps I can do, and to see weight increases from week to week. That kind of progress tracking is motivating and important.

Rigid exercise order: You can only do the exercises in the exact order given. At the gym, if a machine is taken, you’re stuck waiting instead of moving on and coming back later. Having the option to reorder exercises would make it much more practical.

Limited visibility of upcoming exercises: You only see the current exercise, so you can’t prepare in advance by checking what’s next.

Rest timer inconvenience: If I switch apps during rest time, the timer pauses—and I can’t see how much time is left. It would be better if the timer continued running in the background with a small notification.

Success messages are disruptive: After writing a note or logging weight, the big “success” message interrupts the flow. A smaller, quick confirmation would be less annoying.

I like the overall framework and safe, trimester-based workouts, but better progress tracking, flexibility in workout order, and smoother usability would make the program much stronger.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I saw 2 trusted influencers endorse this app and maternity workout plan so I was excited to try it out. I bought the annual plan for $105. What a huge waste of money. The app is complete garbage. It 1/2 worked for 1 workout and then stopped working completely. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone, closed out of the app many times an nothin. Then I thought “maybe it’s just a bug and the creator will fix it with the next update”- also mind you I have an iPhone 16 so it’s not like it’s the device is the problem. I kept holding out. And now 10 months later I’ve never gotten to use The plan I paid for. Do not waste your money on this terrible app. Can’t speak for the workouts themselves since I never got to complete a single one.

Do it now

I started this program about 4 months postpartum and the only thing I regret is not starting sooner! The early weeks are geared towards connecting with the breath and engaging deep core, while also starting to incorporate other full body movements. This program is a work out and PT for my pelvic floor - a real win when time is limited with a new baby. It’s also nice to just press play - one less thing I need to think about. I’m excited for the weeks ahead and safely building back to my pre-pregnancy abilities. You can do this, mama!

Great app, great program!

App is easy to use, really like the built in rest, alternative options, and tutorials within the workout itself.

Good programming for maternity

A few glitches make the app a bit annoying to use but the programs are good

Keeps me active during pregnancy

Love having an app to guide me through the safe exercises I can perform while pregnant

Okay app

The workouts are good but the app is a little clunky.

When listening to music it always gets turned down when the app is up and you cant change the Exercise to a substitution when the workout has started only before.

Instructional

Amazing. The biggest thing I’ve gained from this workout is FORM. It is a major difference in feeling muscles being activated when done properly. This is my favorite part of the app. There are modifications so I haven’t had to buy any equipment.

Solid workout programs

Onto my 10th block of 12 weeks workouts. So many to choose from. Great tutorial videos with each exercise. Plus substitute exercises so you can do the gym workout programs in the home gym without huge items like leg press, leg curl machines etc. Doesn’t neglect upper body like some “female” programs. Definitely stronger and leaner. Lots of different programs to select from so your don’t get stuck in a rut or bored !

3.5- Almost There

I like most of the work outs and the calorie counter.
Some of the work out features I truly don’t like. Some of them are simply not fitting for a gym, like 3 supersets in a gym is just not etiquette or practical. And the back ups aren’t better since it defaults to home alternatives. I’d also really love NOT having to watch a video the entire work out in a gym setting. That should be optional setting and the weight counter and more of a program maybe more of the front so we can track the workouts. Especially after week 1. Why do I need videos to completely the same work out I’ve done 3 times? Anyways with a few tweaks this could be my main app but I’m still using other apps as my primary.

She’s kicking my butt

Great workouts!

I love the workouts and the walkthrough. The video assists make it very easy to duplicate and I love that they walk me through how to do the exercises at home. I’m not a huge fan of the food tracking - I find it difficult to enter in my own recipes/snacks. Overall, as I’m here for the workouts I love and would recommend.
