There is no free trial, you will be charged immediately and it is non-refundable.

This is a really neat app and I was impressed with its ability to transcribe. Unfortunately my lecture environment has background music that Cue cannot differentiate from spoken word so my notes were a jumbled mess of exactly what I wanted AND the lyrics from the background music. No harm, no foul, right? Wrong. I signed up for a three day trial and cancelled within 5 minutes. Too late. I was already charged $99. Apple said my purchase was not refundable. I appealed. Still not refundable. I reached out directly to Cue five days ago. Crickets. Be VERY cautious. If you have very straight forward transcription needs, this app will probably be amazing. But don’t believe “cancel any time.” That is a lie. Once you download the app, you’re charged for 12 months. Period. The end. The is no customer service. Apple isn’t coming to save you. $99 to the developer’s bank account 💨 Your money is gone.

Cannot cancel

It's been 3 weeks of back and forth and I still cannot cancel and I am being charged. Would not recommend!

Con

Do not get the free trial. I cancelled it on the day it kicked in and they will not issue a refund. It the first I’ve heard of this and there is no flex. The app did not deliver what it said it would and therefore is useless to me. It lacked the transcript functionality I needed and it claimed to provide. Avoid avoid avoid

Magical at first.

This is a great App. I first used the 7 day trial and was blown away by it. It didn’t take me long to subscribe for the year.

However, now 4 months into my year I wish it had two things:

1) I wish it had an Apple Watch App. I don’t know if the limitation is the Watch requiring the iPhone to do all the heavy lifting but the number of times when I wished it had a Watch App when my phone was charging.

2) My requirement is seasonal. I use it for HR purposes and the App gets intensive use during certain times of the year and then goes through a period of 0% use.

If there was a weekly/monthly subscription then it would make more sense and would prompt me to keep subscribing next year.
