The catch-all app that catches nothing

I was recommended this app by my UK NHS GP. What she failed to tell me was that this is completely new in the UK and has not been tailored to the needs of the people here. It’s basically AI nonsense, that gives you sweeping generalisations about your stress or anxiety, and all with an American bent to it. I think we can all admit that, when it comes to therapy, etc., Americans and Brits are most definitely not the same. The 71% who claim that this app helped them were all Americans from over 5 years ago. This has no relevance to the UK, and should definitely not be recommended by the NHS. On top of all this, it has a very, VERY annoying American accent that you cannot change.
In summary: this app increased my anxiety and stress which is precisely the opposite of what it was supposed to do.

Surprised there is no skip feature

So the app is stuck on boring intro that I can’t skip and get to the exercise it’s talking about

Feeling less anxious thanks to Daylight

I’ve been using Daylight for a few weeks now and it’s been a lot of help in how I manage my anxiety. The lessons have been helpful for me to identify my anxiety early so I can be proactive in managing it, rather than waiting until I feel absolutely overwhelmed.

I definitely would recommend Daylight to others—it’s been a game changer for me.

Daylight is so easy to use and helpful

Daylight gives me the tools I need to feel calm when I need it. It’s so helpful to have these skills at my fingertips

Surface Level

A weeks worth of content that you’ve to use for months. Very surface level and not helping to get to the crux of any issues. Might work for some people.
