User reviews

Awful. I hope this has not cost the NHS a penny.

Well I found this TOTAL RUBBISH on Google. It told me a few things about how anxiety was causing me physical and emotional pain after I answered the first 22 questions. The oddest thing though is, I had answered all 22 questions with the most positive answer I could go for - yet it still said I was suffering. Utter rubbish.
I’m glad I stress-tested it before wasting much of my time on it.
The final thing, for years, the NHS has filled people full of ‘Big Pharma’ anti-depressant drugs. Now they are switching to ‘Big Data’ to give us something else other than the drugs. With year long waiting times to see Psychiatrists, I can see why such an App could appeal to the NHS. All I can say is IT DOSEN’T EVEN DO THE BASICS.
Just an utter waste of time.

Let down

The fact that I actually experience real trauma and that the NHS’s gave me this, which I can’t even get into, I think they should give people with mental health issues real help from real people not ai garbage

Fun yet data driven

I like the check-in questions and playful animations plus voiceover. The one thing I’d suggest for Daylight app devs is test doing the exercises over Bluetooth or in a car like Apple car play. The audio sometimes cuts off at the end due to a delay. So either the audio needs padding at the end, or pause briefly before transitioning screens.

The catch-all app that catches nothing

I was recommended this app by my UK NHS GP. What she failed to tell me was that this is completely new in the UK and has not been tailored to the needs of the people here. It’s basically AI nonsense, that gives you sweeping generalisations about your stress or anxiety, and all with an American bent to it. I think we can all admit that, when it comes to therapy, etc., Americans and Brits are most definitely not the same. The 71% who claim that this app helped them were all Americans from over 5 years ago. This has no relevance to the UK, and should definitely not be recommended by the NHS. On top of all this, it has a very, VERY annoying American accent that you cannot change.
In summary: this app increased my anxiety and stress which is precisely the opposite of what it was supposed to do.

Surprised there is no skip feature

So the app is stuck on boring intro that I can’t skip and get to the exercise it’s talking about
