Horrible Seat Reservation System
I’ve used lots of travel apps and have never seen a worse system for reserving seats. The website is no better.
Unreliable Train network
Constantly late, where a two hour trip ends up being three or four with delays. It’s a running joke about the efficiency of their trains. Ridiculous.

Poor organization terrible colors
The organization is poor, the placement of things like the time cutoff are confusing and the button colors make no sense.
Confusing app
This sucked. I had mistakenly bought a ticket for the evening and not the morning. I wish this stupid app would use military time like everyone else in Europe
Poor booking experience
DB engineers need to get it together. On the website it doesn’t allow me to put in my birthday due to a poorly written frontend validation. On the app, I input my birthday and hit confirm and then it adds +1 to the date on the next screen.

Great app except it consistently refuses to accept foreign debit, credit or cash cards. Wouldn't even accept a Revolut card. In all I tried six different cards to pay and none were accepted. Sort it out guys!

Impossible to buy ticket for two passengers
It’s a difficult app to use but even once you have mastered the basics, you can’t buy a ticket for two passengers. Even if you select “2” as the number of passengers, the ticket that is issued is only valid for one passenger (but at least you only pay for one passenger!). But sometimes if you select “2”, you actually get a ticket for three. So if you’re travelling with a companion, they have to get the app themselves and buy their own ticket. Then you just have to hope you can sit together. Really inconvenient.

Very Useful
App makes travel around Germany really easy. Since my daughter moved to Germany and advised me to use the app, I’ve been using it ever since. I find it simple to use accurate and very informative.
