Very interesting changes

I have been using DB app for 5 years now, but recent changes are very impressive, such as navigation and start to end of journey mapping, notifications etc, one feedback, I really appreciate the efforts of publishing this app in English but if there are any information or an update on the travel, it always says in German, since that information is very important, if it is also displayed in English, that would be wonderful. Rest it’s amazing to see how DB app has transformed over the years.

Easy to use

Really love booking my train journeys with the DB Navigator. So easy to navigate and the ticket issuing is fast and prompt! And that I can do this from the UK from my sofa is just brilliant! Thank you 🙏

Clunky, nonfunctioning items

Adding personal information is time-consuming and sometimes impossible.

Example: I have already an account and want to add my digital BahnCard. Inserting my birthday is impossible and was rejected multiple times. The month, day and year are not accepted. Frustrating.

Great app and customer service!

I visit Germany pretty often and I’m always quite pleased with how easy the app is to use. Whenever I have questions, the people inside the DB office are also very nice and courteous, not to mention very well informed. I’ve never had a problem. Thank you. A+.

Doesn’t have an easy option to search route #

Don’t want to enter all the route info, just route # should be sufficient for live updates & platform numbers.

Apple pay has issues

For international customers trying to purchase via Apple pay…don’t bother. It doesn’t go through. Add a credit card instead. Took me like 4 tries to figure that out…but at least I could get to the checkout window (unlike on the desktop website 😅)

Bahncard

It’s is difficult to find the Bahn card discount in the booking ticket ! I needed a chaff we to show me where it was ! In the drop down under passenger, one would think that the BahnCard in the app would automatically apply the 1st class Bahn card 50 to my booking which is kind of the purpose of booking through the app.
