Good but could be better

I like the easy to use format of this app but the date is ALWAYS off. I added a debt and the payoff date was set as 2023….its 2026. It seems like this would be an easy update. Please fix this issue!!!!

Helpful and useful app! Rated #1

This is a great app. It’s been available for a long time, since the early days of the iPhone. It helped me to become debt free before, and now due to unfortunate health expenses I find myself needing it again. You never know what life may bring in terms of hardship. This will help you fix it and become free of the blood sucking interest charges.

Great App, but…

I enjoy this app and find it very helpful, but it doesn’t account for income, making the last few months of each debt under the snowball method unrealistically large and difficult to manage. Switching between the snowball method and non-extra payments is also inconvenient, as it requires users to re-mark paid months, and it only allows checking off three months at a time. If I’ve already marked six months as paid and switch from non-snowball, it resets all my progress. While I can work around this by updating the remaining balance manually, it would be much more convenient if the app offered an option to preserve already marked paid months.

Month change

How do I change the month of the payment? The software is about three months behind.M

Needs imagination

Although a useful tool, it is not flexible enough to update changes without deleting the whole lot of information and starting over ie if a debt increases, you can’t adjust the overall amount.

Secondly, once you start to make payments and you wish to change the debt payment method, you’ve got to start over again!

The app needs more flexibility for real life scenarios.

Needs a lot of work to edit and make useful

After using for almost a year I feel it was a waste of time and money. I feel it is a useless waste of time using it.

App needs work

This app has potential, but is missing the mark on a couple of details. Would love to ask the developer about these issues, but can’t find any way to contact them. Frustrating.

It doesn’t know what year we are in.

This app still thinks it’s last year and I can’t find a way to fix that.

Same as free version

I’m not sure what you even get different in the paid version so that’s disappointing. Nothing really calculates right - it’s not showing me interest saved or months shaved off my mortgage. It’s basically an excel sheet, the least they could do was number the payments so you knew how many you had left.

Awesome

I been looking for an app that does the snowball method, finally after two looking is finally here. Amazing App, everything you need to get off out debt is in the App. Dates, projection, and I love the Pie chart avaialable where you can track your progress. A great feature would be a reminder once a debt is paid off, congratualting the user of the progress. I am pleased to have bought the App, and I will recommend it to familly and friends.

Not impressed!!!!!!

Not much different from the free version!! It could use improvements, a lot of improvements!!!

Stuck in 2018

Love this app, but now when I try and use it, all of the dates are stuck in 2018 with no way to make it relevant to current date.

Overall good but minor(or major) complaints

I bought this as part of a checkbook bundle, and I would buy it again, I love the checking app. I like this app but it could be so much better with a few tweaks. My mortgage and credit card amounts get off by a few cents and I have to periodically adjust.
The BIG COMPLAINT: when you need to adjust a debt, there needs to be a way to do it without deleting and starting over. It’s disheartening and discouraging to look like you just started to pay on something when in reality you’ve been paying it down for months but the payment amount or interest rate changed. You have to pretty much reset the date and amount on all of the debts. Also the debt I realized I didn’t have in the list, when I added the amount I owe NOW, it shows that as the amount I owed months ago. Need a way to add new debts from today, not months ago

Ok app, it’ll do

It’s all fine and dandy, however. I wish I could change to weekly payments instead of monthly

Not helpful

I just upgraded to the pro version thinking I would be able to change dates but nope, still just shows whatever date it wants. Deleting.

Bi-weekly

I love this app and use it all of the time. However if I have 1 complaint it would be that there is no bi-weekly payment option.

Total rubbish

Total rubbish software, please don’t waste your money.

Can’t reset payment dates

I like this app however I wanted to start over because I had the wrong figures listed. I haven’t been able to find a way to reset the payment dates. All of the payment due dates have passed already. My dates are starting at March of 2020 and we are in August.
