Good but could be better

I like the easy to use format of this app but the date is ALWAYS off. I added a debt and the payoff date was set as 2023โ€ฆ.its 2026. It seems like this would be an easy update. Please fix this issue!!!!

Not helpful.

Wasted $.99.

Helpful and useful app! Rated #1

This is a great app. Itโ€™s been available for a long time, since the early days of the iPhone. It helped me to become debt free before, and now due to unfortunate health expenses I find myself needing it again. You never know what life may bring in terms of hardship. This will help you fix it and become free of the blood sucking interest charges.

Great App, butโ€ฆ

I enjoy this app and find it very helpful, but it doesnโ€™t account for income, making the last few months of each debt under the snowball method unrealistically large and difficult to manage. Switching between the snowball method and non-extra payments is also inconvenient, as it requires users to re-mark paid months, and it only allows checking off three months at a time. If Iโ€™ve already marked six months as paid and switch from non-snowball, it resets all my progress. While I can work around this by updating the remaining balance manually, it would be much more convenient if the app offered an option to preserve already marked paid months.

FAQ

What is Debt Payoff Pro?

Debt Payoff Pro is a mobile application designed to help users systematically pay off their debts. It utilizes popular financial strategies, such as the debt snowball method, to accelerate debt repayment and build user confidence.

What are the key features of Debt Payoff Pro?

Key features include tracking unlimited debts, supporting multiple payoff strategies (snowball, highest balance, highest interest, custom), detailed debt payment tracking, extra principal payment support, progress charts and reports, payment due date notifications, and built-in calculators for payoff dates, mortgages, and loans.

How much does Debt Payoff Pro cost?

The application is a paid app. While there is a current 50% off sale for a limited time, the standard pricing model is a one-time purchase for the full application.

What devices is Debt Payoff Pro compatible with?

This app is a universal binary, meaning it is designed to work seamlessly on iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad devices. You do not need to purchase separate versions for different Apple devices.

How does the debt snowball method work in this app?

The app implements the debt snowball method by guiding you to make minimum payments on all debts except the smallest one. Once the smallest debt is paid off, you add its payment amount to the next smallest debt, creating a growing 'snowball' effect to pay off subsequent debts faster.
