Tier system is ridiculous

As a new driver for them it is impossible to get an offer as there are multiple tiers before that get to pick and grab ALL the offers. There’s no way to advance to a higher tier without completing offers so you are essentially stuck in purgatory. This is not a good system of sending out shifts in a large market. It wouldn’t be so bad if the app sent you the random offer that no one wanted, but no it constantly pings you that you have an offer but no matter how quick you are to try and see the info it is gone (if you don’t have the app up already and EVEN then!) Just don’t even tease me and send an offer if it’s going to disappear in less than a second.

Worse App

I’ve been on this is app for about 2 months now. I setup everything so I can get offers even when I’m not logged in. I wasn’t receiving any deliveries so I reached out to the recruiter. This was about a month ago and was told it was the slow season so I let that ride, but here we are in September…welp I haven’t done a delivery yet. I’ve had a few deliveries come in I went to click on it I was routed to the Vromo app but that app is so slow by the time the delivery actually picked up I saw a message saying a delivery driver picked it up or it was cancelled by the customer. I’ve seen this twice and after that I haven’t received anything else. I think it’s time I look elsewhere. Oh and the customer service for the drivers is horrible.

Less money than DoorDash, that says a lot

The idea of this app is great. The pay is good for what it is that you’re doing. But all of it is negated by the lack of consistency, logistics and the timing. You basically have to make a conscious effort to turn off the other apps just to do this one and actually make less money than you would with the ones you turned off for the moment. Because of the scheduling, if you don’t live close to the restaurant that the job is for then you’re going to have to stop with your other gig apps early to ensure that you don’t have no overlaps or conflicts of doing another app while you have to do this one. Depending on where you’re at or what other app you’re doing you’ll have to time it to make it to the restaurant. The key to making money with gig work is to keep the wheels moving. But this app requires you to turn the other apps off so you can get ready to go make the journey to the restaurant for this one which will be losing money on other apps. Most of the orders I have seen on this app are far distances away from where I am making my money usually. For some people, it may be OK if they live in the area where they do a lot of catering orders and get them consistently. But if you're far away then you'll lose money.

Paid for bundle starter and MVR and done 1 job

How can I become a preferred driver when I only received 1 offer and complete 1 job and it takes 25 completed deliveries to qualify to become a preferred driver. I was cleared and complete all application process am I doing something wrong or waste my money cus it feels like it since I made myself available for over 60 hours now and completed 1 job and I did state I was making Deliverthat my primary income . Please help me understand this matter and inform of what worse do I need to do to get more offers to complete the jobs done. God bless you 🙏🏽😃

Bad app

I went for DeliverThat based on a video by Cars n Cribs. I have been doing DD and Uber for over two yrs and wanted to add another gig, so I went for it. I applied on CnC’s link created credentials and filled application, then waited. Waited, waited. I rcv’d the bags and had to send in a photo of them. Then I saw the reviews on the app store and got a bad feeling. So I sent DeliverThat an email, a text, and two phone messages and waited and waited. I am now working on waiting for three weeks. On Monday I sent Sarah an email on how long I had waited to hear back if I was approved or not. She replied I would hear back by end of business that day. I rcv’d an email from VROMO, who the heck is that? I checked online and there isn’t much on VROMO, by Fleet Engineering. Good thing I saw Fleet Engineering. I was surfing on the app store for other gigs and saw DeliverThat and in small print Fleet Engineering. So… Fleet works with DeliverThat? Maybe this info was in the vid I saw like 3.5 weeks ago or not. At any rate, DD and Uber Eats were nothing like this outfit. I pretty much signed up and was working within a week. To DeliverThat: I am a fully retired sales manager and I have never seen such a poorly run operation. I am still waiting for the activation email notice and the original credentials I created to apply no longer work. …..the dots represent me fading into the sunset away from DeliverThat.

Terrible

Worse company I’ve signed up for they force you to buy there products before even being approved then once approved the app doesn’t even work at all so it’s literally sharing all your info and paying for their branded product and receiving nothing but terrible service, can’t go to work if I wanted to because that app doesn’t even let you login.. please take these reviews and benefit by not making the same mistakes we did.

Worst

Believe all the negative review. They are by far the worst I’ve worked for. The claim of making $35 is false. A rating systems that will demote before you can even have a say. Especially knowing it is not your fault. Trust the negative
Review. I’m not perfect but I have 5 stars on all the other app I work for. I just started deliver that and already demoted due to no fault of mine. The pay is barely $6.00 per delivery some times. You have to rank up and only if someone in that tier should leave will you get to the top tier. Peace out.
Gas is too expensive. The stupid test they make you take is ridiculous. Not giving my time and money to grow a company who is has no care for drivers but themselves to pocket the money themselves.

Honest review as a new driver without getting paid

If you looking for an app to make good fast money, look for another app. Signing up to deliver for them is like applying for Harvard lol. They make you pay a lot of money for background and company logo bags $40 total with checkr non refundable unless you have your own MVR check. The deliveries go to the preferred drivers first b4 they go to the newcomers which is unfair imo. U need a preferred driver badge. In order to get the badge you need to be on platform for at least month and have at least complete 10 deliveries which isn’t hard to do but finding orders is very hard with millions of annoying false notifications that delivery is available.

Trash app

The people on here saying it’s the best must work for Deliver That. Because there’s no way this is the best app! How does a driver get paid $30 for an $200 order and only $40 for an $1,200? Scam! I had a restaurant for me the receipt for an $1,200 order and the tip was $200! I called DT and told them I was going to have a lawyer investigate this, then they cut me a $200 check! And you have to wait Wednesday and Friday to get paid with no fastpay option. DoorDash catering orders range from $20-$150! DT is definitely scamming drivers!

Feels like a scam company having bought their $55 thermal bags and no work

I bought the bags and signed up but WOW there appear to be no orders AT ALL. And the very few times I have gotten an alert for an order it’s no longer available when I click the notification to open the app. Like another bad review about Deliver That said: they give you zero time to actually look at the order before someone else apparently snags it. I have worked for Hometown Delivery, EZ Cater, DoorDash, UberEats, Postmates, and GrubHub BUT “DELIVER THAT” IS NOT LIKE ANY OF THEM BECAUSE I DON’T ACTUALLY GET ANY WORK.

WARNING SCAM!! Do not do it

At this point they are just collecting money from people I’m not sure if this is even a legit service. They get you to pay for these bags and MVR background saying you can’t start without them and have you purchase through them and show proof before you can even apply. Just for you to finally get on the app and see that there are 0 jobs available. I’ve been on it for days and haven’t seen anything at all.

Scam

They get you to order the background check, buy the shirts and bags but do not have work for you. I have only been active for a little over a month and got orders the first week and a half. Other times you only have literally 2 seconds or less to accept an “offer” but then it says it was picked up by another driver.
Have not received another offer in over 2 weeks. They sent an mail about 2 weeks ago saying they are working on the app but in the meanwhile it’s a joke.

Not so great

App needs some serious coding updates. A job will literally flash for not even half a second and then disappear! I’ve been on the platform for 6 months and have only been able to do less than a handful of order

Also when you click the order, if you can in time, it says another driver accepted the job even if I’m super fast clicking the notification. FIX THIS!!

Deliver that app

The problem with this app ! working on this app is that they don’t give the driver enough orders sometimes you just get one order for lunch a day and also you’re stuck because under three hours you cannot cancel any order or you will be penalized and fined ! anywhere between $30 and more ! another issue is when the orders come in they only come in for 3 to 4 seconds. It doesn’t give enough time for a driver to even try and get the order. They need to take care of the drivers that have been working for them for a while that are good drivers and deliver. The catering orders on time unless it’s an issue with the restaurant that way they will have steady loyal drivers but apparently they don’t care they need to give a driver at least 15 to 20 seconds to grab the order not 3 to 4 seconds if these few issues could be worked out by the company they could have loyal drivers!

Invest in your company

The first come first serve aspect of the application for getting orders is a joke. It’s lazy and the fact that it’s been ten months since the last update shows you that the college kids running this company just aren’t serious about their business. During the May podcast an employee laughed off the fact that it’s first come first serve and basically said “oh well”. I wish them well but my confidence in them is low

Deliver That! Best app for gig work!

Deliver That, lives up to its tag line, built for drivers, by drivers. Everything about this app is designed to serve the drivers that actually deliver the orders. The driver hotline, “help desk” is actually staffed by people who can help. The help desk people have been drivers, most of the team at DT were drivers before joining the company. The pay per offer averages higher than any other app that I have worked. I have completed 32,000+ trips in gig economy and I will take every job they offer. I simply wish I could get more jobs from deliver that.

best at driver support

consistently getting orders in a big city with relatively low miles. Pay is about same for every order with couple of $ more or less. No tip baiting. great support that can help you with any issue.

Love DT! Great team running the company!

I’ve been on the deliverThat platform for 8 months or so now. I’m not new to food delivery or catering work, but this company makes it super easy to work with their team. Just gotta follow the rules, invest in some good hot bags, this isn’t Doordash, it’s a bit more serious work, but the deliverthat team makes it super easy and any issues their support is top tier out of all the other gig apps. I work 7 different apps and DeliverThat has by far the best driver support out there.

Now there’s a few issues, like orders popping up and us not having a literal second to accept it before another driver accepts it, but there’s still work out there.
