I like how it notifies you before shift starts and it lets you know when to clock out. Itâs also great tool for communicating PTO requests.

Itâs very nice app to get shift done and you can sign in and sign out.

The most interactive company I have EVER known. Itâs like a family. Everyone is connected and all the paperwork is sent to you itâs amazing. You are informed always about everything and anything. I usually donât comment but literally this company is too great everything is done PROFESSIONALLY! I love it!

Great app! I highly recommend Deputy to all companies. Itâs very convenient and easy to use. Sometimes clocking in can be difficult due to poor signal, but overall itâs an excellent app.

Deputy is a great app for staff to document their start and end times of their shift each day. The photo verification is a reliable tool to ensure every staff is consistent to ensure safety for all staff and children whom we work with. The shifts are easy to follow and flexibility to change shifts pending staff availability is efficient and a reliable source for evidence of staff attendance.

Beware the auto renewal!
These guys rely on the fact that you have invested so much time in onboarding that it is very onerous to switch to someone new when they double their prices. Not only that but when they start sending out reminders that the plan is about to renew they do it in such a deceptive way with cute little graphics telling you youâre going to be SAVING money when actually theyâre about to double your fees! The only saving is that youâre on a cheaper version than the alternative higher priced option. When I finally got the invoice telling me how much the renewal was going to be it was sent at 1am in the morning and the money left my account the same morning. I had no opportunity to question it and when I contacted them immediately on seeing my bank account the only option they were prepared to give was to switch from an annual to a (more expensive) monthly payment. There are many cheaper options out there and their huge fees are crippling to a small business. Good luck surviving once youâve killed off all your customers guys!!

The updates are getting worse and worse. I could not turn off the toggle in preference. It keeping flipping itself on.

Been using this on my iPhone 8 for years, now thereâs been an update and I can no longer use the app for work on this phone what in world??
Not intuitive for the cost
On the whole it works, it definitely doesnât meet expectations. There isnât logic to onsite scheduling. We work across many sites, adding a person on the web version isnât at logical as the mobile app but the mobile app also doesnât do what the web version does. Simple logic like selecting any number of employees for any number of days at a selected site is basic function.
Poorly designed travel booking sites can manage a calendar selection easier than this system does. Perhaps for a fixed roster, or where certain staff work certain days? But the price continues to go up with the functionality really not growing to match.
I donât know what options there are out there for the same thing but there must be something. If we hadnât committed the time and energy that we had to this, Iâd go elsewhere. Simple schedule fix. Pick employees for a job, pick the site, pick the duration, pick the shift length in a series of drop downs or tabs. Not create shift for 1 person, copy, paste, copy, paste.

This app does not work
This app will not let me offer my shifts to anyone, I was told that I would be able to give shifts I cannot work to other freelancers and that feature has not worked correctly in the 1.5 years that Iâve had to use this terrible app. There also seems to be absolutely no one to speak to about this, I am repeatedly told by the app to speak with my supervisor but she doesnât know anything about this app either and is also VERY BUSY managing many employees from many locations & this really seems like more of a tech support issue that should be addressed by someone that specifically works with this app. It should not matter if there are people to offer the shift to, just because this app cannot figure out how to list the other freelancers that could potentially take this shift does not change the fact that I CANNOT WORK THIS SHIFT. Pushing the button that says âcannot workâ should actually tell someone that I cannot work this shift, but instead all it does is bring up a message box where I can send this shift to other people to see if they want it- but there is never anyone listed in this area, so it wonât let me finalize the âcanât workâ action that I am trying to take, so now it just says i was âabsentâ even though I said ahead of time that I cannot work. I know Iâm not the only freelancer in this area, but even if I were - if I push a button that says âI canât workâ it needs to tell some human person somewhere that I cannot work it should not matter if your stupid app can figure out who else to offer it to. This is absolutely INFURIATING

Stay away,save yourself some heartache
This is one of the worst scheduling apps I have ever used. It never works correctly. He has called me issues on jobs on multiple occasions. Youâll put the schedule in 1 AM to 1 PM. Itâll pop up on the employee side as 4am to 4pm.
