Unfortunate Company to work with
My experience with the company was considerably different from what I initially expected. During recruitment and onboarding, the environment was presented as supportive and focused on learning, including the idea that mistakes were part of the learning process. However, once training began, I found the expectations around assessments and performance to be much more demanding than I had initially understood.
The training period lasted around a month and included online materials, tests, exams and practical simulations. While I appreciated having structured training, I found the performance expectations and consequences for not achieving sufficiently high scores stressful. In my view, these expectations would have been helpful to understand more clearly before joining.
After completing the training and assessments, the workload also became a major concern for me. There were days when I was expected to handle several client sessions, resulting in hours of continuous calls. I found the pace difficult to sustain, particularly when there was limited opportunity for proper breaks. From my experience, the workload did not always seem aligned with the level of support available.
I was also concerned by how some employees in my cohort were treated when they were ultimately not retained. From what I observed, some people who had put significant effort into the training were removed from the programme without much explanation. I found this difficult to understand and felt that greater transparency would have been beneficial.
Another area I found challenging was consistency in training and assessment. At times, we were expected to demonstrate a very detailed understanding of the platform, while trainers themselves would occasionally need to double-check answers to questions about the system. This made the assessment process feel inconsistent from my perspective.
There were certainly positive aspects, particularly the amount of platform knowledge and practical experience I gained during the process. However, overall, I found the combination of high assessment pressure, demanding workloads and limited clarity around expectations difficult.
I would recommend that anyone considering the role ask detailed questions about the assessment criteria, performance expectations, workload, breaks and what happens if training requirements are not met before accepting an offer.
