When I first booked I didn’t receive a confirmation and the payment from my account remained pending.
I was unsure whether I was booked or not and was unable to check without a confirmation number. I later found I wasn’t and had to rebook. All went well the 2nd time but the initial payment is still pending

Best Ferry Booking
Easy to book online ferry crossings and I was given 20% offer an alternative times( not much different though)

The only tip I would give is that the verification code goes to your email address 👍🏻
Horrible service for a fee
My sailing was cancelled by the ferry company, and yet their app says the trip is “completed”, it’s utterly ridiculous! Even the ferry company website acknowledges that the ferry is cancelled. A total scam. They charge 6 pounds service fee and have horrible service. Never use it again!

Buchung funktioniert nicht
Bei meiner App auf dem iPhone funktioniert die App nicht. Ich kann keine neuen Buchungen vornehmen. Auch die Hilfe Funktion bringt mich nicht weiter und direkten Kontakt. Mit einer natürlichen Person bekommt man nicht. Das ist natürlich alles sehr schlecht.

Overcharging overnight
Nachdem man eine günstige Fähre für einen fairen Preis gebucht hat, erfährt man über Nacht per Mail, dass die Fahrt plötzlich fast doppelt so teuer sein soll. Beim Anbieter der Fähre direkt kriegt man für den alten Preis sogar noch eine Kabine dazu. Short Story shorter: DON‘T!

Total joke, looks good at first, don’t trust them!
Got this app to book a ferry from Ireland to Wales, seemed pretty easy to use. Got to the Stena ferry in Dublin harbor, they informed us that there is a new policy-ETA-UK- which direct ferries+stena, provide zero info about and we could not board until info was submitted, could take days. Bottom line, we couldn’t board, direct ferries+stena will not refund the $180, not even partially, plus, you can only contact them via chat bot, which keeps apologizing, but blames the traveller.

I booked a ferry from Arran to mainland only to find out AFTER that there was no availability. They also charged an extra £10 on top of a £26.50 fare!! They have no direct knowledge of the ferry availabllty - BEST TO book direct with Caledonian MacBrayne . They also use bots- which when you need to sort out this disinformation for ferry trips asap - isn’t helpful. Expensive and useless.

Haben über Direct Ferrys gebucht. In der Bestätigungsemail war ein Link angegeben, um die App zu installieren und das E-Ticket zu erhalten. App hängt sich ständig auf. Wir kommen nicht an unser Ticket. Mal sehen, was nachher an der Fähre passiert. Wenn ich die anderen Rezessionen vorher gelesen hätte, hätte ich einen anderen Anbieter gewählt.

Mit Flexi-Tarif-Zuschlag Überfahrt im 3stelligen Euro-Bereich gebucht, um Umbuchungs- und Stornogebühren zu vermeiden. Überfahrt wurde dann krurzfristig von tagsüber zu einer Ankunftszeit mitten in der Nacht verlegt. Umbuchung dann plötzlich doch nicht mehr möglich, dafür aber Storno mit Storno- und Bearbeitungs-Gebühr. Dazu noch komplett inkompetente Chatbot-Kommunikation, kein Telefon-Support, dreiste Falschaussagen, Stumm- und Totstellen. Fazit: Gebuchte Dienstleistung nicht erhalten, Geld für nichts abgezockt. Unseriös. Besser direkt bei Fährlinien buchen.
