This app is showing businesses that have been gone for over 12 months. It is not showing new businesses that have set up in the last 12 months. Very disappointing if we are trying to encourage people to shop local and support the local community.
User friendly and exciting!
The Discover app is very easy to understand and use, with each type of attraction clearly and colourfully displayed. They have done a brilliant job of making every single shop/pub etc. look exciting and appealing to me. The app is excellent and should be an essential tool for anyone looking to visit one of their sites!

Basic app error
Downloaded this app as local town promoting it. However straight on the launch screen is signup/log in. Before an app gets these details I need to be sure it is a valuable app and not just a lazy excuse to data mine.

Loving this app
Have downloaded many “local” apps over the years, but none really with any success; once you get onto them and type in your area, often it’s “no results to show,” unless you live in London or another big city. Downloaded this one a few days ago and forgot about it. Just logged on and signed up. Have started browsing through activities and places and so far it’s the best app I have found for finding things in local area. You can narrow it down to specific likes/dislikes (I.e. vegetarian food, or dog friendly places in my case!) and filtering results usually means things are REALLY narrowed down but there are still plenty coming up, even in my little rural area in the south west. First impressions are really good and myself and my dogs will be working our way through some walks, eating places and activities just as soon as storm Arwen has gone!
