Hidden fees
App sets up by default to calculate what you spend and takes your spare change rounded to next dollar and adda it to a “bank” hold on the ditch account. Once this reaches a 20$ threshold it takes the cash from your payment account to pay off your debt account. What they don’t tell you is they charge a convenience fee on every single transaction with a 1$ minimum. So every time it moves 20$ it charges you 1$ … so roughly 5% fee to operate. I cancelled as soon as i saw this because i had not seen anything about that charge anywhere … plus this is a subscription app to begin with. Pretty shady business practice

Do Not Use!!
The app/subscription is nearly impossible to cancel. Customer services refuses to cancel account, after all steps have been taken, and will withdraw your account. I have also not seen any actual payoff made, although my account was charged

Love this app and have been making big progress with my credit cards so far. I have a savings account open with my credit card issuer and would love to see an option where I can put my spare change from my purchases into the savings account instead of just paying down my debt. Then this app would be perfect.

Incorrect balances
Ditch is pulling in incorrect numbers from my bank, for example, it is says I owe $9999 to 2 credit cards which is inaccurate. I also have not been able to successfully connect Target Red Card account.
Great Idea, Terrible Customer Support
Extremely disappointed with the support experience. Our American Express account was suspended after payments processed through Ditch triggered compliance issues with Amex, and we urgently needed documentation explaining how the payment system works. We’ve tried calling, leaving voicemails, and sending messages through the app, but have received no response at all.
For a financial app handling people’s bank accounts and credit card payments, responsive customer support is not optional. Right now we’re facing potential permanent account suspension with Amex and can’t even get a basic explanation letter from Ditch.
The app concept is good, but the lack of communication and support when something goes wrong is honestly unacceptable.

I’ve been using ditch for only a few months and have paid off $600 of my debt which doesn’t sound like a like compared to how much debt I’m in but it’s saved me so much on interest! highly recommend!!

$100 for subscribers
I thought this would be a useful way to pay off my debt. It didn’t list the cards I wanted to pay off and therefore I canceled my account the same day. A week later they charged me $93.14 for a service I didn’t use and canceled same day. It’s a little steep for people trying to pay off debt I think. Also make sure to cancel in the app and online AND in your Apple subscription or they’ll still charge you.

Love Ditch
I love Ditch. It has made making extra payments super easy. I just set my settings and forget it. It’s been 1 month and I had already paid an extra $100. The best thing is I control everything. I can cancel a payment, change the settings, change where the payment is going, ect. I always get a notification before a payment is sent.

Frozen
I paid my $8.99 weekly subscription, entered my info. Upon reaching the page that asks me to verify one card. I cannot move on. The page glitches/ freezes and no matter how many times I enter the card number & click verify, it doesn’t move on. I have tried deleting the app & redownloading it with no luck. I don’t know what to do. I really want to use this app.

Easiest Debt Payoff Ever
By spending money that I normally spend, it will round up my purchases until a certain amount. When I reach the goal, it will take the money from my account and put it towards my debt. I’m making extra payments towards my debt with out even realizing it! Love love loveee this app!!
An absolute NECESSITY
I’ve been using Ditch for about 6 months and I can say with confidence that if you don’t use this app, it is financial malpractice. Without even thinking about it, I’ve paid off hundreds of dollars in debt every month! It’s been a real catalyst for me and the only thing I’m mad about is that ditch wasn’t created sooner.
